It rained most of the night and morning. Thankfully, the rain stopped just as we finished lunch so that we could got outside for our "real" egg hunt! We haven't found a church in Apex as of yet. I plan to visit this Sunday hopefully. But, I still dressed the girls in their Easter best. Kamdyn and I recalled the true meaning of Easter since we haven't been to church throughout the entire Easter season this year. I did participate in giving up something for Lent. I chose to give up COKE! Yes, COKE! It shocks me, too. I made it 40 entire days without one sip of regular coke! I couldn't wait for Easter Sunday to get here. Richard and Uncle Jim went to the convenient store and got a Big Gulp for me. Surprisingly, it wasn't nearly as good as I thought it would be. Perhaps I've kicked my so called Coke addiction. I'm not even adding it to my grocery list anymore. It will be reserved for special occasions.
We desperately tried to get the girls to stand still for a photo together, but that planned failed miserably! Kamdyn thought she was a runway model and Karcie was a run away model. Oh well! We did the best we could!
The Egg Hunt was a hit! Aunt Kathy loads them with money. I'm not talking coins or small bills either. It's the large bills! I wanted to participate, but was told it was for kids only. Shucks! Some of the eggs have candy. The candy was a hit for Karcie.
We also tried to get a photo with everyone except Richard. He was the photographer. It just didn't work. Posed photos were not in the cards on this particular day. Richard got a good laugh at me falling over with both girls and the eggs and baskets going everywhere! I guess it was funny!
We hated to see Aunt Kathy and Uncle Jim leave, but it was an absolutely wonderful weekend. As Aunt Kathy put it, "it was filled with the perfect balance of fun and relaxation." We can't wait for them to visit again soon!

| Karcie thinks she owns the neighborhood already. She takes off over to the neighbors house every time that we walk outside. If their garage is open she thinks that their toys are for her even if they aren't outside. :) |
| Love this one! |
| Here's where the fun began! |
| We were getting close! |
| We finally got Karcie on my lap. |
| Then, Kamdyn moved! |
| And we all fell down! |
| The photo opportunity was gone at this point! I am sure that Richard's cackle could be heard all over the neighborhood though. |
| Karcie got help from Uncle Jim. |
| He would hold the money and she would eat the candy. |
| It was a pretty good system until she started eating the paper around the candy instead of waiting for it to be opened! |
| Kamdyn was content with the $. She counted hers after opening each egg! She had to be sure that she had more money that Karcie! |
| Aunt Kathy took in all of the action from the golf cart. |
| I think Karcie was trying to trade Kamdyn candy for her money! |
| Kamdyn dropped a MINI Reese's cup under the stairs. |
| I couldn't let it go to waste! |
| It was unopened and safe! |
| So I got to eat it! |
| Uncle Jim and his girls! |
| Giving Aunt Kathy some love for all of the treats! |
| Excited, Kamdyn? |
| Aunt Kathy with her girls! |
| Is that it? |
| Yes, Karcie, we have to go back inside. |
