The Sayers Come to the Lake

Carrie and her family came to visit this past weekend at the lake.  She was my very first Apex friend.  She is one of my awesome Jazzercise instructors here.  We had so much fun with them and we hope they  come back soon.  Her husband, Tim, seems to love fishing as much as Richard.  I always love when the parents AND kids get along so well.  It makes for a super easy friendship!  Come back Sayers!  We miss you already!!

Carrie took some great pictures at the lake!!

We convinced Miss Carrie to get in the water.  That apparently NEVER happens!

Karcie still loves Will like she did when they were little when we first moved here.  They picked up right where they left off!

Clay Creations and Sleepover with Sydney

The girls and I had a mock Cupcake Wars/Creation day when two of us created what the judge asked us to out of clay.  Then we were judged on creativity, etc.  It was pretty fun!

Cupcakes for us!

The girls were making tacos.

Kamdyn has been missing Sydney.  We invited her over for a sleepover.  The girls REALLY wanted to bake something so I  took them to the store to buy the ingredients that we didn't have.  They made chocolate chip cookies sandwiches with frosting inside.  However, we learned that we need a lot of practice with baking.  Me included!  It was still fun and the cookies tasted delicious despite our short comings!

My girls

107 degree heat index and she's wearing cowboy boots without socks.  Kamdyn didn't even want to go with us to the store because she thought Karcie looked ridiculous.  I am sure we have many more of these days to come!
The girls decided that they would have a "sleepover" at our house.  They painted fingernails.  Watched a moved and snuggled in bed together.  I hope they always adore time together.

Precious!!

Lake Neighbors

Our lake neighbors come pretty frequently.  We just started kind of hanging out with them this past weekend though.  They have a three year old little girl.  They also have some pretty fun lake toys.  Layla invited the girls over to hang out on their mat.  They had so much fun jumping around on this thing.  It's crazy!  We may need one for the 2017 lake season....Christmas present idea?

Sunrises and sunsets never get old.  Ever.

My oldest baby was found on the front porch one morning reading her book.  This is what our lake days consist of.....good family fun and a lot of relaxing!

Sometimes they even include a little work from the boat.
