Fishing, Water Balloon Fight, and Refinishing Tables

Richard squeezed in another morning of fishing!  When he got back we had a family water balloon fight.  Whew, it was intense!  Those balloons didn't have enough water and really did kind of hurt when they hit you and didn't bust.  We did have a lot of fun though chasing each  other around.  We were all trying to get Richard!  We weren't very successful though!

Richard did some later afternoon with our lake lot realtor.  They did pretty get after a few little set backs.

It rained on Memorial Day so I got a chance to try chalk paint on some tables that Ruthie gave us! It was another relaxing and family filled weekend at the lake!

Little girl slept for about an hour on the boat.

We transferred her to the bed WITH her floaty on and she slept for another hour.  This never happens!!

Happy 5th Birthday to our Karcie-girl!

We headed for the lake as soon as we could!  Richard spent the first morning fishing.  Karcie woke up on the wrong side of the bed on her birthday.  We had to postpone her birthday celebration until she could get herself together.  Luckily, she did!

I decorated her door with streamers and five balloons.  I reused her birthday banner from her first birthday and added pictures from the past five years around the window!  I hope our girl felt special on her special day!

We enjoyed leftover cupcakes from her birthday celebration at school and from her end of school celebration.  We were cupcaked out by the time her actual birthday got here!!

Happy "REAL" birthday, Karcie Laine!

End of Preschool Celebration

Karcie's end of year celebration was at Chick fil A.  One of the little girls in Karcie's class, her family owns the Chick fil A in Apex.  The kids had a super fun time enjoying some time together.  I loved hearing what Ms. Tavia and Ms. Kay had to say about all of the children and how much they had grown this year.  It was so sweet of them!  We are so thankful to these Godly teachers!
