Tummy Time

Karcie has done it!  She is officially rolling over a few days shy of 4 months!  On this particular day she was rolling from her tummy to her back.  She couldn't quite figure out how to get from her back to her tummy.  However, she has gone from her back to her tummy several times today.  The first was at Nanny's house this morning.  She got her legs stuck around her jungle gym and didn't like it one little bit!  I love every new stage with her.  She is precious!  I hope to get her new trick on video soon.  She doesn't like to perform for the camera yet.  I am sure her sister will teach her a thing or two about that soon!

She is doing so well with holding her head up!

She looks around all over the place.

She's looking at Kamdyn in this one.

There's big sister....in Karcie's bouncy chair wrapped in her pink snuggie!  Can you believe we needed blankets in September?  CRAZY!

Clemson Football

I am still in shock!  I still haven't caught my breath!  Disbelief.....that's all I can say.  Our Tigers have managed to win two HUGE games against Auburn and Florida State and they have looked AWESOME while doing it!  We haven't seen such a display from our Tigers in a while.  It is a great feeling, but one that we are afraid to really take hold of.  We are used to dropping the easiest of catches, missing the field goals that matter (wait, we are still doing that!), and losing the close ones!  This season seems to be starting in a different way.  I am excited, but hesitant all at the same time.  I am a realist and know that Clemson football can change in a second.  For now, I am happy for our team and I hope we continue the trend and beat VA Tech, Boston College, etc., etc.  Go Tigers!

Richard rode with Nanny up to Mama Lucy's along with Karcie last Friday.  I had to work and Kamdyn had school.  We drove up after work/school.

This is how we found Karcie.  She took an unheard of three hour nap on Mama Lucy's bed.  Maybe this is why she was up every hour on the hour that night!  Precious, nevertheless!

Kamdyn reading Ruthie and Karcie the Bible.

She gets this Bible every single time we go to Mama Lucy's.  I don't know why she doesn't bookmark it.  We never seem to get past Genesis and Adam and Eve.  :)

Ruthie and Karice listened attentively despite hearing the same Bible story repeatedly!

Carly painted us these awesome monogrammed Tiger Paw glasses.  We LOVE them!

The girls with sweet Ellie!

I still can't believe that I need a light jacket for a September football game.  I had to buy this at Target the night before because I was completely unprepared for cold weather.  My toes froze all morning!

The mayhem after our win over Auburn!

Go TIGERS!

We had awesome seats for this game.  In fact, I think they are the best seats I have ever sat in for any Clemson game.  It was great to witness this game so close to the action!

Birthday Parties Galore

We hardly ever have birthday parties to attend.  When we do, it seems as if we always have multiple ones at either the exact same day/time or there are at least two in one weekend.  A few weekends ago, Kamdyn was invited to three birthday parties.  Two were on Saturday and one on Sunday.  The two on Saturday overlapped so I didn't even get photos of Kamdyn swimming at Augusta's new Kroc Center.

Kamdyn at her school friend, Carter's, gymnastics party!
Enjoying cake and ice cream.
On Sunday we ventured to Neopolitan Cupcakes for a very PINK and cute party! I actually thought of having Kamdyn's party here this coming year.  You have to be turning six or older.  After realizing that it was geared mostly for girls, she decided that she may need to choose a more "boy friendly" venue so that Jacob would have fun.  No party of Kamdyn's could be complete without Jacob!!

Face Painting!

My precious girls!

Sweet Karcie was precious the entire party!

The yummy finished product!

YUM!

Julianne, the birthday girl's, big cupcake cake!

Pin the candle on the cupcake!  After diverting her away from the curtain, she got much closer to the cupcake!  :)

Pure Sweetness

Our sweet Karcie NEVER lies down and sleeps without being tightly swaddled.  Her naps are taken either in the swing or in someone's arms.  In fact, we had to get a bigger swaddle blanket for her recently and we have to tuck her left arm into her onesie every night before wrapping her very tightly in her swaddle blanket.  Her left arm kept creeping out which would make her wake up.  The swaddle is worth a full night's sleep for Mommy and Daddy.  But, I do feel like I put her in baby jail every night.  :(  She seems to like it!

Anyway, on this particular day, Georgia was holding Karcie when we got home while she napped.  As she was leaving, she put Karcie in Kamdyn's butterfly chair.  I guess the chair kind of wrapped around her because she didn't wake up.  It was the perfect opportunity for some sweet baby photos of her sleeping!

Look at that precious profile!

Mickey D's Girl!

When we were on our way back from our Clemson weekend, we stopped to get McDonald's.  This is what I found staring at me from the backseat!

Football Already?

I swear it feels that football season 2010 just started and I am just finding out that I am pregnant.  Where has the year gone? Pregnancy is over. Karcie is here. Karcie is three months old.  And, football season is here again.  That means we have lots of traveling to do.  But, most importantly, we get to spend a whole lot more time with the people that we love the most!  It is a lot of work for Mommy, but it is well worth these precious memories!

Little Vera wasn't so sure about this half of her Terry family!

She finally decided that Kamdyn was a respectable person and crawled to her.  She never would let me hold her without opposition.  I hope I get to love on her a little more next time!

Precious little Vera.  Beautiful blue eyes and spitting image of her Daddy!

Vera likes Karcie's jungle gym!
