It just snowed, and snowed, and snowed some more! We woke up to everything covered in snow. Even what we had messed up the previous day was covered again. On this day, it was much windier and colder. I bundled up the girls and went outside for a few minutes, but quickly got back in to the warmth of the house. We watched from Nanny's bay window. The girls got a kick out of throwing snowballs at the window at us.
On Day 4, the sun FINALLY came out. We waited patiently impatiently for it to melt so we could cure our cabin fever. Kamdyn tried her best to get Karcie to "play" school with her. Karcie was not the best student, but Kamdyn tried her best. She did get Karcie to trace some of her letters and numbers. Perhaps, I should let Kamdyn stay home and teach Karcie. ;) Pop Pop was really sick the last day that we were there and ended up having to go to the hospital for several days. Ruthie came and got us while Richard and Patrick were working at Mama Lucy's house. (Side Note: So thankful for good friends that are always willing to help on short notice! AND, thankful for friends with 4-Wheel Drive!)
Thank you for having us, Nanny, despite the crazy circumstances. We love you!!
