Will's Birthday

My friend Carrie's son, Will, turned 6 last week.  Karcie and Will have been sweet little friends since we moved here.  They stay together at the babysitter at Jazzercise.  They invited the girls to his mini golf party and it was the cutest little party.  The kids had a blast!!

Listening to directions.  Are you listening, Karcie?  No running.  No picking up other people's golf balls.

You have to wait your turn.

Little Karcie did SO MUCH BETTER than I anticipated!

Look at that form!

She was so cute!  At times she would just pick up her ball and move it right next to the hole so she could hit it in.  :)

Yummy golf ball cupcake.

Sweet kiddos!

A hug from the birthday boy!

Karcie the Cleaner

This girl loves to help me clean.  I'm sure there will be a time in the very near future that I will not be able to even BEG her to do this.  But, for now, I will take what I can get!!  She's the cutest little maid I've ever seen.

New Big Girl Seat

I was so tired of stuffing Karcie into her other car seat.  She was too big for it.  When Georgia arrived, we jumped in the car and headed straight to Wal-Mart to get a high back booster WITH a 5-point harness for Karcie.  This seat is so much more comfortable for Karcie and it makes my life so much easier as I put her into this seat a gazillion times a day!  She was thrilled with her new HOT PINK seat!  She was most happy about the cup holder.  It's the little things.....

Surprise Visit from Georgie

Randy, Georgia's husband, worked in Durham for a day last week.  Georgia jumped in the car and came with him to visit her two favorite little girls.  We were thankful to have her spend the day with us, even if it was a short visit.  She went to the store with us.  She brought the girls their Valentine's Day gifts.  She enjoyed some outside time with us.  And, we enjoyed a yummy dinner with Georgia and Randy that night.  Thanks, Randy, for treating us!  They even brought breakfast over to us the next morning before they left to go home!  We had a super time and can't wait to see you guys again soon!

Lunch at Mickey D's!

Woah!!

Happy face!!

Woo Hoo for the fan!  They love them!

Goodies Galore!

I love this photo of the three of them!!  Everyone is smiling and all eyes are on the camera!

Who needs snow for sledding?  Georgia pulled Karcie all over our neighbor's drive way!

Dancing Queen

This girl is still dancing and is on the move all of the time.  I can never get a photo of her that isn't blurry while she is at dance.  Oh well!  These will have to do!

Jumping over the big heart pillow!

This one would have been perfect had she been still!!

Where's my smile, sweet girl?

We've been digging through Kamdyn's dress up box finding tons of tutu's that Kamdyn wore when she was taking dance.

Valentine's Day

We spent Valentine's Day driving back home.  But, before we left Ruthie's, I made the girls heart shaped sandwiches.  I didn't have a cookie cutter so I used a knife.

Kamdyn was eager to get home so that she could have a sleep over at Mia's house.  Mia's Mom sent this photo to me of the two of them making chocolate covered strawberries.  Valentine's Day was very low key for us.

Snow Days at Nanny's (Day 3-4)

It just snowed, and snowed, and snowed some more!  We woke up to everything covered in snow.  Even what we had messed up the previous day was covered again.  On this day, it was much windier and colder.  I bundled up the girls and went outside for a few minutes, but quickly got back in to the warmth of the house.  We watched from Nanny's bay window.  The girls got a kick out of throwing snowballs at the window at us.

On Day 4, the sun FINALLY came out.  We waited patiently impatiently for it to melt so we could cure our cabin fever.  Kamdyn tried her best to get Karcie to "play" school with her.  Karcie was not the best student, but Kamdyn tried her best.  She did get Karcie to trace some of her letters and numbers.  Perhaps, I should let Kamdyn stay home and teach Karcie.  ;)  Pop Pop was really sick the last day that we were there and ended up having to go to the hospital for several days.  Ruthie came and got us while Richard and Patrick were working at Mama Lucy's house.  (Side Note: So thankful for good friends that are always willing to help on short notice!  AND, thankful for friends with 4-Wheel Drive!)

Thank you for having us, Nanny, despite the crazy circumstances.  We love you!!

They were in snow heaven!

Always looking for mischief.

So cute!

Throwing snowballs at Nanny!

Taking off these layers was torture!!

Sweetness!

Precious eyes!

Playing school.

Teaching Karcie to write.

She did pretty well!

Snow at Nanny's (Day 1 and Day 2)

After Great Wolf Lodge, we drove down to SC to visit.  Unfortunately, we didn't get much visiting in because we were snowed in for three days.  However, the girls had a super time.  They played in the snow.  They put on make-up.  They took off make-up.  They put on make-up again.  And took it off again.  They played play-doh and colored.  They watched TV.  They ate lots of junk including their Valentine candy.  What else do you do when you are stuck inside for three days?

Karcie got into the make-up minutes after we arrived!

Kamdyn was being silly with the make-up.  At least I hope she knows at almost 8 years old that eye shadow doesn't go WAY up there.  :)

My beauties!!

Day 1 SNOW!

Nanny with her favorite girls!

And me with my favorite girls!!

We made the leaning snowman, but Karcie loved it!

Kamdyn was concerned about our leaning snowman.

I LOVE the Google+ puts snow in my snow photos!  I know I have said this repeatedly this Winter.

This photo cracks me up!!  Nanny NEVER wears a coat.  NEVER.  And she found this hat when I asked her to look for a scarf and hat for our snowman.

My little snow angel.

And my Big Snow Angel

When Karcie has a snowball in her hands......

You better RUN!!  She will throw it right in your face!

Sweet Memories!
And back to the make-up!

Kamdyn decided to color.
I adore this face!!  It was so much fun taking this make-up off of her repeatedly!
