Thanksgiving Brunch

We weren't all able to get together on Thansgiving Day. Holly and Matthew spent the day with her family in Charlotte. So, we had a tasty brunch on the Sunday after Thanksgiving at Aunt Kathy and Uncle Jim's house. Everything was delicious and we had such a great time!

Uncle Jim gave Kamdyn this crazy ball, as I call it! Seriously, it makes the most annoying laugh that you've ever heard and then shakes all over the place. I tried getting Kamdyn to take it to Georgia's, but Georgia sent it back home with her! :) To say that Kamdyn likes to aggravate, would be an understatement. The ball now sleeps in the car! Thanks, Uncle Jim!!

The TIGERS did it AGAIN!!!

Yep, we beat those Gamecocks again!! I LOVE IT!!! I wasn't so excited about watching the game in the rain, but it was worth every second of it!! I must admit, I was a little nervous this year; however, we dominated! I was so proud of our team and for Dabo Swinney. He has really added some much needed spirit, pride, and determination back into our team. The fans truly appreciate the spark that he has ignited! It's so fun, not only to watch the team play, but to watch Dabo and the team on the sidelines, too! I am proud to be a TIGER!!!

Before the game

We were all huddled around the table enjoying Hot Chocolate!

Who knows what this conversation was about? I'm sure it had something to do with "post-ring!"

The girls! Another puffer jacket, not so flattering, but so very warm!! I had to go and buy another jacket b/c we weren't prepared for the rain. When we left North Augusta on Thursday morning it said NO RAIN!!! HA!!! Those weathermen.......do they ever get fired for being wrong?

Inside the game

Our "Ticket Club," except Holly. She fell down and you can barely see the top of her head behind Carrie!!

What a great day to be a TIGER!!

This picture definitely speaks a thousand words (or numbers)!! This is how many times we have beat the Gamecocks overall!!

James Davis pointing to the Fans! He will surely be missed next year!

After the game

Not sure what was going on, but Allison joined in! :)

Girls Night Out!

These nights are very few and far between for me. In fact, they are almost nonexistent and it's not because I don't enjoy these nights out, it's just that I never take the time for them! Sad, I know!

I was determined to meet up with Abby and Jen in Greenville on Friday night for dinner and to see Cravin Melon at The Handlebar. It was great to talk, laugh, act silly, and just be ourselves! We had such a great time! What would I do without my wonderful friends?

Wow! That's REALLY close, but look at the contrast of our eyes! Abby has the bluest eyes I think I have ever seen! I'm still not sure what color my eyes are, but that's nothing new!

Happy Thanksgiving 2008

What a fabulous Thanksgiving we had! We had a combined family event again this year and we all gathered at Mama Lucy's. Kamdyn loved having everyone together where she, of course, was the center of attention. I'm not sure what we all did to occupy our time before she came along, but she sure does entertain us!

We have so much to be thankful for. Kamdyn, Richard, and I are so very blessed to be loved by so many special people! I can't believe that I didn't get a picture of Kamdyn with us. Nor did I get a picture of her with Ruthie and Mama Lucy! Oh well!! I can't think of everything! :(

Kamdyn loves sitting on this rock at Mama Lucy's house.

Our little sweetie playing in the yard. It was such a nice day!

Kamdyn found this orange in the yard. Random, I know, but she had the best time playing with it!

Kamdyn's "guests" finally arrived and she couldn't have been happier!

Eating her Thanksgiving meal! She said the blessing for us this year and it was truly precious. I was fortunate enough to capture it on our video camera. Unfortunately, I can't post videos on here until I figure out how I can reduce the size of them. (Hint, hint, Uncle Matthew!)

Kamdyn and Nanny acting silly!

Kamdyn's Great Uncle Tom reading a book to her.

Pop Pop and Kamdyn....I'm surprised that Kamdyn wasn't aggravating him! She LOVES to aggravate some Pop Pop!

Uncle Jim, Kamdyn, and Aunt Kathy

We visited The Potters prior to our Thanksgiving. Kamdyn gets tired of having her picture taken (I can't imagine why!), so we had to "trick" her into sitting down to get her picture taken with Potter and Carrie! What a great picture of ALL of them!

Christmas Decorating

Truthfully, I started decorating our house two weeks ago. I don't know.....I just got in the Christmas spirit early this year. I also knew that we would be out of town the entire Thanksgiving weekend. Kamdyn and I had a great time putting up the decorations. Even though most of it was done while she was napping, she still enjoyed helping! We even decorated outside, but I haven't gotten around to taking a picture outside. We are ready for Santa at this house!! :)

These are just a few pics from the day that I put up the tree. As you can see, she was in such a GREAT mood!!

Acting Silly

Looking through a magazine for things that she wants for Christmas. She LOVES to do this!

Hey, there's nothing in here!

Testing the waters! How many of these can I touch before I get reprimanded?

Happy Birthday to MacKenna!

My teaching assistant and dear friend, Debra's, little girl, MacKenna, had her 5th birthday party on Saturday. Kamdyn had a great time! MacKenna had a Princess Party and the highlight was the princess that came to the party at the end. Snow White was my lab student this past semester from Augusta State University. She did a great job entertaining the kids! Kamdyn says she wants to have a Princess Party for her next birthday. If she doesn't change her mind between now and then, there will probably be another Snow White appearance!!

Snow White read the story, "If You Met Snow White." It was the perfect book! Kamdyn was so enthralled as she is with all books!
