Better late than never, we carved our Pumpkin on Halloween morning. Kamdyn was much more involved this year than she has been in years past. I recommend this little pumpkin scooper tool to everyone! It makes scooping the goo out a cinch! We still haven't graduated to fancy pumpkin carving. I like to keep it simple! Plus, I doubt I would be very patient with anything much more complex than triangles and a normal jack-o-lantern mouth.
Before the transformation.
LOVE the goo face!
Working hard.
Proud of our creation!

Halloween Day
Halloween was a very busy day! Since it's taken me two weeks to post the pictures, I guess it seems the weeks after Halloween were busy, too! However, believe it or not, I ran out of storage space on our blog! I have just paid to increase my storage for the year and all of that information just went through. Who knew it would take almost 5 days.
Richard went fishing on Halloween morning so Kamdyn and I had the day to ourselves. We started with carving our pumpkin that had been at our house for two weeks. Mommy just couldn't find the energy or time for carving a pumpkin. My photos from our pumpkin carving are on a different computer so I will add them later. We also visited Hi Brass on Friday night and I do not have any photos to share. I left my camera in the truck and I was in a pregnancy zombie funk!
It was time to get Dorothy dressed for her parties and trick-or-treating. I know I've said it before, but I don't remember having so many events around Halloween when I was a child. It seems we have been playing Dorothy for weeks! Because of this, Kamdyn was tired of Dorothy's wig and decided that her own blond hair would have to do!
Party #1 in our neighborhood.
Richard was one of four Dads who volunteered for an unknown task. Since we had been to the party before, Richard thought he would be hiding ghosts for the ghost hunt! WRONG!!!
Each team was given 7 rolls of toilet paper. The children who wrapped the Dads up the fastest in 7 rolls of toilet paper won!
Hilarious!
But guess which team won?
Check out the toilet paper on the stick! My engineering husband is competitive and told the little boy to put the rolls on a stick and run!
YAY Team!!
All four teams!
Enjoying a hot dog with Dorothy!
Balloon Relay Race
The rules were to pop someone else's balloon before they popped yours.
Kamdyn did well at first, but then got frustrated!
Robin and Kamdyn
After Party #1, we caught up with our neighbors across the street for some trick-or-treating, bon fire, and more food!

Have You Heard?
Upside Down first photo of Baby Terry #2!
Heart rate 167 bpm....same as Kamdyn's first ultrasound.
The video is LONG, but this is when we first told Kamdyn our BIG news! She was beside herself. This is unedited and exactly the way it happened! I am about 9 weeks and they have given me an estimated due date of June 4th! I am hoping for three weeks early just like Kamdyn was! :) But mostly, we (Richard and I) are praying for a healthy baby and an easy pregnancy! Kamdyn is praying for a baby girl! I have been super tired and have had a few battles with nausea. We are so very excited and we feel very blessed!

Bowling for the First Time
Kamdyn's friend from school, Cori, had a bowling party last Sunday. We arrived late to the party without the present because we spent two hours at the Sunday Clinic after driving two hours back from a Clemson football weekend. Richard dropped us off at the party. In the meantime he went to get Kamdyn's prescription filled and went to our house to pick up Cori's present. He remembered everything except the tissue paper! :( Oh well! The important thing is that we made it to the party and the present arrived just in time. Kamdyn has some practicing to do with bowling, but she seemed to love it!
Kamdyn said, "Mom, these shoes are cool!"
This was almost a strike!
Granny shot through the legs. 6 lbs is still heavy for a 4 year old to handle!

Roomates Reunite
Kelly, one of my best friends and roommates from Clemson, came to the GA Tech game last weekend. She stopped by our tailgate which made me very happy. She now lives in Virginia Beach and I only get to see her about once a year, if I'm lucky! We had a great time catching up! The best thing is that I get to see her again next weekend! Love ya, Kelly!

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip
Richard was able to take Kamdyn to the Pumpkin Patch this year with her class. He gave wonderful commentary on the trip and seemed to really LOVE his experience. I think he should become a classroom Dad! Of course I am teasing, but I know he enjoys seeing Kamdyn interact with her classmates and she enjoys having her Daddy there with her. It's not often that Dad's get to attend these kinds of things. I am thankful that he takes time out and is able to adjust his schedule to let Kamdyn know just how important she is to him!
Sun is in her eyes again!
Story Time
She lost her bow! (Daddy hates them and always takes them out!)
What is she plotting?
She decided to roll her pumpkin down the hill.

Halloween Carnival 2010
Don't you just LOVE the wig? She insisted on being Dorothy since she only wore this costume for the Wizard of Oz play. Even though I chose something a little different for her, I let her make the final decision! And, I am happy that I let her make the decision because she has got to be the cutest little Dorothy that I've ever seen! Daddy went with us, too! He didn't make it into any photos because I put him in charge of the camera this time!
Where is Toto?

Football
Kamdyn and my weekend plans fell through at the last minute due to my Daddy's health. We were supposed to spend the weekend in Myrtle Beach with my Mom at ,one of our dear friend, Jen's wedding. Unfortunately, my Dad got sick and I made the decision to be closer to home just in case. My Mom wanted us to go to the game, so we did!
Kamdyn had a great time at the tailgate playing in the sand, but was less than happy with the hot sun in the game. I can't say I blame her! I mean it is October and inside the stadium it is a good 15 degrees hotter than it feels at the tailgate. Can we get some "real" fall weather please?
Kamdyn lasted for maybe 3 minutes into the game before she was miserable and in turn making me miserable. We spent the first half sitting at the top where it was cooler while listening to the game. (Well, Kamdyn collected acorns and sorted them. Then, she acted the entire musical, Annie!) The second half was spent at the tailgate. I watched the game on TV while Kamdyn took a cat nap in the back of a car. All is well that ends well, but taking a child to a game is A LOT of work!! Let's not even mention the number of times that I had to take her to the bathroom. Since we do not use the port-a-potty for obvious reasons, we had to take a hike to the tennis courts SEVERAL times! I think she will sit the next game out so I can actually watch the game. :)
Kamdyn: "The sun is in my eyes!"
Kamdyn: "It's still in my eyes! I can't open them!"
Problem solver Uncle Matthew lends her his sunglasses that she did not want to give back. They traded his IPhone for his sunglasses!

Fire Station Field Trip
Kamdyn went to the fire station with her school on Wednesday. Unfortunately, Richard and I weren't able to go with her. Thankfully, Georgia was able to take her! Kamdyn had a great time and really enjoyed learning all about Fire Safety this past week. I hate that we missed her trip, but we are so glad that we have a wonderful someone to be there in our absence. Thank you, Georgia!

Holly and Matthew's Baby Shower
Carrie, Potter, Richard, and I threw Matthew and Holly a shower for Baby Vera on Sunday afternoon after the Miami game. We had such a great time with awesome family and friends. They received such wonderful things........We can't wait to meet Baby Vera!! Carrie and Potter were gracious enough to let us have the shower at their house. They were awesome hosts as usual!!
Carrie was explaining Vera's birthday scrapbook to Holly. Everyone wrote a special message to Baby Vera. It was such a good idea and will be a very special keepsake.
