The Kirks invited several families over for New Year's Eve. That meant I didn't have to watch the game all alone since Richard was in Miami!! We proudly sported our Clemson colors. All of our friends were very understanding of my Clemson football craziness while I was watching the game. I seriously was a nervous wreck before it started. None of the other ladies there are interested in football so I was kind of on my own, but it was so wonderful once we started to pull away from them! With that win, I knew we were going to Arizona. I had to run home to confirm one of our flights that we had on hold!
I got out my selfie stick later in the night. It was hilarious trying to get a photo of us girls. None of us really like any of them, but we found one that we could semi-agree on!
Campbell handed out crowns to the girls as soon as we got there!
Sweet kiddos having dinner, minus the big boys. The big boys ate later during the second shift!
These two cats somehow finagled their way to Miami at the last minute. Or.....maybe it was in their plan all along. I was bummed that I didn't get to go, but I was happy that they were able to be there to see such a wonderful Tiger WIN!! I've never been more proud to be a Clemson Tiger than I was after this night. It was awesome! I wasn't there (I said that already didn't I?), but I can only imagine how awesome it was. From the photos below, it looks like they had a fabulous time!
Richard is learning how to take a selfie and smile at the same time. For some reason, it's hard for him.
Go Tigers!! So glad we beat Oklahoma!!
Driving to Miami from Orlando!
Waiting on Matthew at the hotel!
I love me some Mandy! High School friends rock!! This is the photo that they sent me around midnight that night!
Bang it, Mandy!! My favorite quote of the season from Richard!
A few days after Christmas, the girls were begging to go to Defy Gravity. I was hesitant because we always went when we were tracked out and no one else was there. I knew Christmas break would be a much busier time. However, they talked us in to it and it wasn't bad at all. Richard jumped with the girls and it was his first time going. I documented the craziness from the sidelines since I always jump with them! It was so fun!
Afterwards, we had dinner at a Raleigh Mexican Restaurant and we got to see our favorite magician, Mr. Dan! Coincidence? I think not! Thanks to my planner of a husband, he knew that Mr. Dan was going to be close by to Defy Gravity. The girls had a great time laughing at this magic and they loved their balloons!!

Karcie swinging between the ropes. She amazed me!
