We are so thankful for our many blessings! He is RISEN!!
Easter Bunny left the Easter basket under the table this year!
But, she found it immediately! She told Ruthie (who spent the night) that the Easter Bunny should have hid her basket in the refrigerator or some place better????
As always, Mr. E.B. did not disappoint!
Next stop was church for a wonderful service and the releasing of the butterflies!
Our sweet girl on the church steps.
Checking out the Sunday crowd.
Back home for some traditional Easter Sunday swinging in her Easter dress.
Ignoring the pleas from her Mother, "Kamdyn, please don't get dirty!"
Mommy (34 weeks) and her sweet girl!
Kamdyn was not wanting to cooperate for pictures. She was too interested in getting dirty!
TOO STINKING CUTE!!
LOVE this one! (Who is going to help Mommy up?)
Where's your happy face, Kamdyn?
She had other ideas for getting dirty.....
We finally changed clothes and hunted some eggs! Check out the Easter can. Another awesome product from Anna Susan Boykin a.k.a. www.susuart.com
After a wonderful Easter dinner prepared by Nanny, Kamdyn and Nanny had some playtime in her room.
Not happy to be saying goodbye to Nanny and Pop Pop.

Most of you already know that Baby K's name will officially be Karcie Laine. Although it was not at the top of Richard's list, it was at the top of mine. Karcie means love, boldness, and hope. I know that our little sweetie will possess each of these attributes. I love unique names just as Kamdyn's name is unique. Here are some photos of her nursery. All we need is our precious little girl! 34 weeks and counting......FAST!! If Karcie follows in big sister's footsteps, contractions should start in about 2 weeks and delivery to be within 3 weeks! We can't wait to meet you Karcie Laine! Thank you again, Anna Susan Boykin for the beautiful letters! They are perfect and just as I imagined. Check out her website by clicking here! She is awesome!
I accidentally turned her hamper around the wrong way after we hung her letters over her crib. Oops!

Kamdyn and I dyed eggs yesterday afternoon after the rain stopped. It was a little chilly outside, but thankfully I decided that outside was best even though I purchased "no spill" cups! Right? How can companies market these crazy products that just do not work? Clearly it's because people like me purchase them just to find out that they do not work. Kamdyn had fun regardless and the eggs were dyed all the same despite the "no spill" (pain in my rear) cups!
Dropping in an egg waiting on a SPLASH!!
You were supposed to dump the cup upside down to get the eggs out without any liquid coming out? Anybody see how this would work considering that there is a BIG hole in the top of the cup???
We decided that turning the cup upside down just didn't make any sense after trying it with regular water first. We used spoons instead and it was still difficult!
She was proud of her colored eggs!

Our church's Easter Egg Hunt was on Friday; however, the weather did not cooperate so they had to move it indoors. The kids had fun all the same. Kamdyn created a few craft projects and enjoyed hunting eggs in one of the Sunday School rooms. Thankfully, Kamdyn did get to have an Egg Hunt the day before with her class at one of the local parks. I didn't get any photos because I wasn't able to take her. Thank you, Georgia, for taking her to her school Egg Hunt!
LOOK! I found a Golden Egg (I mean, Daddy found a Golden Egg!)!
She's not scared of the Easter Bunny anymore!

Kamdyn's class visited a local Dairy Farm for a Field Trip this past Wednesday. My class actually went in November, but I was on bed rest and wasn't able to go. I was excited to go with Kamdyn's class. I took the day off and we had a fabulous Mommy/Daughter day. Our events included the field trip, lunch at Cracker Barrel, a visit to the library to return and check out books, an errand to the post office/bank, and then, a wonderful two hour nap! I love these special days with my precious BIG girl!
