Bye, Bye, Big RED TRUCK

Friday was a sad day for Richard. Well, if I'm being honest, it was sad for all of us. After much consideration and contemplation, we decided to sell Richard's truck. Now that we have a boat ramp less than 1/4 of a mile from our house, it really doesn't make sense to have that HUGE V8 gas guzzling truck with the price of gas the way that it is. Luckily, Mrs. Denise and Mr. Al were looking to purchase a BIG truck for Dalton. Ruthie was also considering getting rid of her Pathfinder. All fell in to place! We sold the truck to Denise and Al and we bought Ruthie's Pathfinder, which I LOVE!! Richard will now be driving the Honda since his work is further than mine. The Pathfinder will be able to pull the boat to the boat ramp when needed. Here is Richard one last time with the red truck after he worked so hard cleaning it up! Enjoy that truck, Dalton!!!

Dalton said that Friday may have been a sad day for Richard but Saturday was a fantastic day for him! Dalton didn't have a clue about the truck! I guess our covert operations were a success! We only told a few people about his 16th bday present so he was not the only one surprised. Our friends were so excited that they were crying! Dalton even teared up! He jumped up and down, hollered, ran around and had a fit when he saw the big red truck with Happy 16th Birthday on it along with a black bow. You'll have to see the video to do this description justice!
Dalton has already told Ana Blake that book bags go in the back even if it's raining.. (he said he'll cover them) He has a long list of other rules and he's following Richard's RPM rule!He sounds like Richard Jr.I'm so glad that all of the car deals worked out for everyone! Dalton's 16th birthday was perfect not only for him but for everyone who shared the day with him !Thanks so much for the car wash and the half a tank of gas!
