End of Preschool Celebration

Karcie's end of year celebration was at Chick fil A.  One of the little girls in Karcie's class, her family owns the Chick fil A in Apex.  The kids had a super fun time enjoying some time together.  I loved hearing what Ms. Tavia and Ms. Kay had to say about all of the children and how much they had grown this year.  It was so sweet of them!  We are so thankful to these Godly teachers!

Karcie's Last Day of 3K

Karcie had a wonderful year in 3K.  Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Jerry were perfect for her.  I love that they taught her about Jesus every single day that she was there.  My heart was full when she came home singing the songs that she had learned in Chapel.  I don't know where this year has gone.  She will be going to school everyday next year from 9:00-12:00.  She's already asking me who her teacher will be and where her classroom will be.  Thanks to Apex Baptist Church Preschool for being so great!

Karcie's School Birthday Celebration

Since school would be out a week before Karcie's birthday, Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Jerry allowed Karcie to celebrate her birthday the last week of school.  She was having a Strawberry Shortcake Birthday Party so she wanted her school cake to be Strawberry Shortcake, too.  She designed this herself at WalMart. She told me the exact colors that she wanted and where she wanted them on the cake.  She decided she wanted a #4 cupcake cake, too.  I love my decisive, speak-your-mind girl!

She was proud as could be when we walked in with her cake.  Hip Hip Hooray for turning 4.  It's my favorite age!!

Karcie's Thanksgiving Feast

Karcie's Thanksgiving Feast was today.  I love seeing her interact with her teachers and friends. The parents were all in the room when the children got back from Chapel.  They were instructed to sit in their cubbies while Ms. Jennifer gave us directions.  They stood up and said The Pledge to the Flag, The Pledge to the Bible, and their Bible verse.  It was so sweet! I have videos of the three.  My girl was so happy to see me when she walked into the room.

We enjoyed some delicious sandwiches, snacks, and desserts.  Each family helped their children make a snowman ornament to help decorate the trees in downtown Apex.  I'm so glad that I get to spend these moments with my Karcie.  I missed so much of this when Kamdyn was little.  Thank goodness Georgia was there to pick up the slack which I was working!  Now that I think of it, Karcie probably would have rather Georgia be at school today instead of me.  My girls sure do love their Georgia!

Pledge of Allegiance with BOTH hands over her heart!  Bless!

Turkey hand prints that she continues to call chickens!  Bless it!

Only Kamdyn

This is the only kid that I know that voluntarily pulls out workbooks so that she can work on school work on her first day of track out.  Love her to pieces and I am amazed at how much she loves learning!!

My beautiful Kamdyn!

Kamdyn wouldn't allow me to take a great photo of her on picture day, but I think her "real" photo turned out great!!  I'm not generally a fan of school photos.  They are over priced and just not that great.  BUT, my girl always manages to have such a sweet little face in her school photos.  How could I not purchase them?  Right, Richard???  :)

She looks so grown up in this photo.  It's just so hard for me to believe.  Where is the ginormous hairbow?  I am so proud of this angel and I'm so blessed to call her mine.  I would love it if she could see herself through my eyes.  She's all things great.  No matter how many arguments/fusses that we may have, I hope she will always know how much I cherish her.  She is so much like me in so many ways. Some ways that I would rather her not be.  She does not procrastinate. Homework must be done the minute that she walks into the door.  Every. Single. Day. No exceptions. Things just have to be a certain way.  She is organized. She gets frustrated when something is a little bit difficult for her.  She can have a melt down in a heartbeat.  She loves with every ounce of her being.  She wears her heart on her sleeve.  She is the picture of innocence.  She always gives her best.   She is Kamdyn.  Our one and only Kamdyn and we love her so.

2nd Day of 3K!

When I picked Karcie up from school on her second day, her teaching assistant said, "She is so precious!"  First, I looked around to be sure that she was talking to me.  Then, I politely told her, "Thank you!"  I am so happy that she is doing well with listening and following directions so far.  I hope that doesn't change.  She is my feisty one and has a mind and opinions of her own.  I hope she continues to save that mind and opinions for her family at home!!

How precious is she???

Karcie's First Day of 3K!

I cannot believe that this day is here!  I remember when we took Kamdyn to her very first day of 3K with Mrs. Pond.  As cliche as it may sound, it literally seems like yesterday.  Now, my last baby starts school!!

I couldn't be more proud of her!  I was worried that she would cry.  But she didn't.  Not a drop!  She asked for one more kiss and off she went.  I will have to get the photo of her and her teacher, Mrs. Jennifer off of my "real" camera.

Karcie is going to Apex Baptist Church Preschool.  So far, it seems wonderful.  She goes 9-12 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  She has chapel and Spanish daily which I LOVE!!

She was a little "ham" the morning before we left!  Google+ made this funny little video collection of the the pictures that I took.  This is pretty much how she moved as I snapped photos of her.  :)

Happy First Day, Karcie Laine!!  You make your Mama smile and laugh more than I thought any one person could!!

This was when I picked her up.  Her teaching assistant Mrs. Gerry was releasing her to me.  So sweet!!

See You Later Alligator

Karcie's last day of 2K was last Wednesday.  They had an end of year program and family picnic.  Again, I was sad because it was just me who could attend.  I checked Kamdyn out of school for a couple of hours so Karcie wouldn't be the ONLY kid without an entourage of family.  :(  Still, she only had two.  Oh well!  I'm sure that it didn't bother her in the least.  She didn't even notice, I'm sure.

She sang her little heart out despite the burning hot sun that was shining down on those sweet little kiddos.  She did yell out one time, "I'm sweating!!"

Miss Kelly was such an awesome and patient first teacher for our Karcie.  She desperately needed the socialization in a small, structured setting.  Kelly is so soft spoken.  Karcie loved everything about being there.  I am forever grateful for wonderful teachers like Miss Kelly and Miss Jenn.

Here we come 3K!!  Can't wait to see how great Apex Baptist is for Karcie girl.

"Look, there is Mommy and Sissy!"

Where is your picture, Karcie?

"Five little Monkeys swinging from a tree.  Teasing Mr. Alligator, you can't catch me.!"
