Mia's Birthday Party!
Kamdyn as some of the sweetest little friends in Apex. And, although, we are sad that some of them stayed at Olive Chapel, we are happy that she still stays in touch with them.
Mia turned 10 and had a sleepover. Her parents were brave and took them all out for pizza at a favorite pizza joint called Mama Mia! How fitting for Mia's party!
Kamdyn loves her sweet friends and loves every chance that she gets with them!
Happy Birthday, Mia!

CF Walk
Kamdyn has a friend in her class who has Cystic Fibrosis. She also has a friend in her class who has a sister with Cystic Fibrosis. These cuties were supposed to be at Saturday school for a half day for a snow day, but decided to walk in the CF walk for their friends instead. I thought it was a great and sweet thing for them to do! Thankfully, Sydney's Mom was able to take Kamdyn. I was home with Karcie. Richard was fishing at the lake.
Kamdyn's teacher walked, too. Such a great way to raise money for these awesome kids!

Kamdyn is 9!!
Kamdyn had so much fun at her Jellybeans Skating Party! I loved watching her skate with all of her friends. They all seemed to have a really good time. I tried to take as many photos as I could, but I was a one woman show. I missed having Richard there for photos and videos. It was hard to get everything on camera while enjoying the party. Plus, I was half asleep. ;)
Our favorite part of this party was that it wasn't very expensive and EVERYTHING was included. All we had to do was show up!! Georgia did make the adorable applique skate shirts the girls with each of their names on them. We got so many compliments on them from others at the skating rink. My favorite comment was, "Your shirts are so cute! Who made them? Are you girls in a skating league together?" I tell you, after the many parties I've planned and the amount of time, money, energy and stress that I've put into them, I can say without a doubt that I enjoyed this route the most. I was looking forward to actually skating if Richard had been there. But that was hard to do when I was in charge of watching all of these girls.
Check out the video of Kamdyn doing the Hokey Pokey!! It was so cute!!

Happy???
All of her little friends and two little sisters.
They even provided the cookie cake. Would mine have been cute??? Yes!! But, mine would have cost A LOT more and the girls probably loved this much more than cake anyway!

Spelling Bee!!
Kamdyn won her class Spelling Bee again this year!! We are SO proud of this little girl! She moved on to the school Spelling Bee. Last year she finished third. This year, she didn't get quite as far, but it's not because she didn't study REALLY hard. She knew those words!! 450 of them to be exact!! Words that we had never seen before. I had to Google most of them and have the computer pronounce them for us. She got stumped on a word by over-thinking it. She was so disappointed in herself. She had such high expectations after last year. She is so hard on herself!! She reminds me of someone else that I know.
We, however, couldn't be more proud of her. It's an honor to be in the Spelling Bee and she did her best!!
Her sweet little friends and classmates came to cheer her on! That made her super happy, but also made her even more upset when she misspelled her word. :(
WE love you, Kamdyn Lucy Terry and so do your friends!!

Only Kamdyn
This is the only kid that I know that voluntarily pulls out workbooks so that she can work on school work on her first day of track out. Love her to pieces and I am amazed at how much she loves learning!!

Lunch with My Girls!
Kamdyn has been begging me to have lunch with her at school. I surprised her this week and did just that! We invited Sydney to join us. Karcie thinks she is BIG STUFF when she goes to their school carrying a lunch box and gets to sit at the big lunch table. :) I sure do love these three sweet girls!

OCE Movie Night
Kamdyn's school had an outdoor movie night fundraiser last Friday night when Richard was supposed to arrive home from London. I was planning to take the girls by myself anyway, but we were planning to skip out a little early to pick Richard up from the airport. Those plans changed when his flight was cancelled. Anywho, we were in this spot from 6-9:40 PM that night. Surprisngly, Karcie did great! Much better than I ever expected. Kamdyn loved it!! We enjoyed pizza, snacks, and watched Hotel Transylvania.
They both kind of look like ragamuffins because I knew we would be outside on the ground for a LONG time!
These glow sticks kept them occupied while we waited on the movie to start!
Karcie decided that she wanted hers to be a belt!
Giant movie screen!
