Since Wake Forest is kind of close to us here in Apex, we decided to meet up with some of our favorite Clemson fans in Winston-Salem for the Thursday night game. The entire ride was yucky and rainy! We stopped for lunch in Winston before heading to the tailgate. As we were eating, the clouds started breaking up and the day turned out to be pretty nice. UNTIL.....the sun went down and the winds came. It was sooooo cold. Richard even used my monogrammed girly band to cover his ears. THAT's how cold it was! As usual, the Tigers scared us to death in the beginning, but ended up pulling off the win. Whew!!
Thanks to Georgia and Nanny for coming up to keep the girls so that we could spend a night away!
