In the past few years, it has become tradition that Mama Lucy and Ruthie come down and spend Christmas Eve with us. We have our Christmas with them that night. They get to see the girls dressed in their Christmas PJ's, leave cookies and milk for Santa, sprinkle reindeer food, and say goodbye to their elves for the year. We love having them and hope that we can continue this tradition when we move. Year after year we realize how lucky we are to get to spend so much time with Mama Lucy. She is 89. She is such a blessing to our family. It's so darn hard watching our loved ones get old. We love her to pieces and are thankful for every single second that we get to spend with her. You too, Ruthie, but you're not old yet! :) Thank you both for all of the wonderful gifts, but especially for the time spent together.
