Our Summer Goal

Last year our goal for the Summer was potty training, which Kamdyn mastered rather quickly. After a few short weeks she was potty trained completely and we have not looked back. This goal seemed rather easy for her and she has NEVER wet the bed! We are blessed!

This summer, my goal for Kamdyn (and myself) is to have Kamdyn writing her name. She is progressing rather nicely and we are almost half way there. She can write a "K" and an "a" all by herself. The "K" was hard for her, but she persevered and can do it now! The "a" was easy for her. We are currently working on the "m." The humps are giving her a fit! The rest of her name should be easy for her. I'll keep you posted.

She tries so hard to hold the pencil correctly! :)

There's a "K."

She did both all by herself. The "K" has some really LONG legs, but look how perfect that "a" is!

Here she is trying again after her bath!

She is also very interested here lately on tying shoes, too. She can make the bunny ears by herself. This seems to be a bit harder for her, but she is just so eager to learn and to accomplish things. I have no doubt that she will be writing her name and tying her shoes before I know it!!

Her little brain surely wants to learn. You do a great job teaching Kimberly. You have come a long way from laying all your babies on the floor in front of a chalk board made by your Daddy and teaching them. You have a live little angel to teach and put her on the right path. Great Job ! We are proud of both of you.

You are doing a great job, Mom! Now when she comes to my classroom next year, I'll just take credit for it. :)
