ACC Championship Game

This was such a fun day!  I'm so glad that we have been able to follow our Tigers on their journey to the National Championship game this year.  They have been so fun to watch!  We certainly have a fun crew to share the memories with.

We tailgated very close to our hotel....which I loved!  When it was time to go into the game, the lines were horrendous.  Richard, Matthew, Potter, and I were sitting together in the upper deck.  "Somehow" we got separated.  (READ: Richard and Matthew ran off and left Potter and me!)  Richard and Matthew found a secret way into the game and called us from our seats.  Potter and I were stuck in a sea of people waiting to get in.  We did what we had to do and went the secret way, too.  My short legs had to scale two barricades.  The first one I did on my own, but it was high.  The second, Potter helped me over.  We sneaked past one attendant telling her that we were picking up tickets at Will Call.  Then, we scooted right on through Will Call and security.  We made it to our seats just before kick-off.  Many didn't get to their seats until the end of the first quarter.  All is well that ends well, but I tell you what.....If Richard Terry runs off and leaves me again, he's going to be in BIG trouble!

The craziness of our entrance was worth it once the Tigers won!  We were the last to leave the parking lot which is typical.  We love to celebrate! 12-0!!

On our way to see The Tigers play!

We were listening to this funny song on the way about UNC about them being snooty and driving around in their "Benz."  This Benz drove past us during that song! It was hilarious!

Brent and Shannon were almost defeated by the "potty" tent.  This tent saved the day!!

Our tailgate!

Bart ended up being on ACC TV with his crazy pants!!

We had one UNC fan with us!

Such a fun tailgate grouop!

And lots of celebration was had!  These boys were "dabbing" after the game.  There was also a bit of attempted "twerking" going on, too.  I won't post the video, but you can only imagine the hilarity!

We made it to the hotel.  Bedtime selfie!  Lawd! Staying with Richard, Matthew, Potter, and Patrick was interesting.  Crazy boys!!

Christmas on Salem Street

Ruthie came to keep our girls for us so that we could go to the ACC Championship Game in Charlotte. On Friday after she arrived, we loaded up and made our way to downtown Apex for Christmas on Salem Street.  We walked down the street.  Watched them light the tree.  We enjoyed hot chocolate and Karcie got a candy cane balloon.  We watched Santa and Mrs. Claus make their way  down Salem Street.  The little boys and girls were on their best behavior.  We made our way to a new Mexican restaurant afterwards.  Thank you, Ruthie, for coming to visit and for taking care of our girls!

Karcie got to bring home "Wanna'bee" Beatrice from school.  She got to go everywhere with us!

Waiting on the tree lighting!

Rare family photo!

She had to get on her Daddy's shoulders so she could see the action!

Ta-Da!

Mrs. Claus and Santa making their way down Salem Street!

Santa decided to get out to see some of the kiddos!

She was so proud of her candy cane!!

Sealants for Kamdyn

Our dentist recommended sealants for Kamdyn at her last appointment.  We scheduled them on a day when I had Bailey so I had a little flock with me as we entered the dentist office.  Kamdyn was a trooper.  The little girls looked on without a peep.  I think they were scared for Kamdyn.  She was brave though and didn't complain a bit.  Dr. Jonathan has been awesome to us since we moved to Apex.

What are y'all looking at?

Dr. Jonathan explaining the procedure and how nasty it was going to taste.

This and That

I can't even begin to describe how busy the month of December was for us.  I mean, who schedules a vacation in the middle of December?  And who would have thought that our Tigers would take us to so many places in December?  All I can say is that I am now on the other side of December and I can finally breathe again.  Whew!!

 A little pink tree decorating!

The elves made their debut back to our house!
The elves had a tough year!  Kamdyn left questions for the elves and wanted answers.  Well, she asked what their favorite food was.  Hershey's Hugs.....duh?!?!
Karcie and I spent a lot of time in the car waiting for Kamdyn.

She went through toy catalogs to pass the time!

Sack race with the elves and other toys!

The elves invaded Peppa Pigs house.

Richard also went out of town for work for a week in December.  What?  So Kamdyn got to sleep with me.  Sweet little angel!

I went to wake Karcie up one morning and found her upside down in her bed like this.  Actually, this is how I felt the ENTIRE month of December....upside down!
