Sealants for Kamdyn

Our dentist recommended sealants for Kamdyn at her last appointment.  We scheduled them on a day when I had Bailey so I had a little flock with me as we entered the dentist office.  Kamdyn was a trooper.  The little girls looked on without a peep.  I think they were scared for Kamdyn.  She was brave though and didn't complain a bit.  Dr. Jonathan has been awesome to us since we moved to Apex.

Karcie's First Dentist Appointment

Karcie had her first official dentist appointment!  She had sat in the chair at Mr. Patrick's office before and he has looked at her teeth, but this visit was her first official one.  She was so brave and wasn't worried a bit.  She did great until they took x-rays.  She wasn't a fan!  They kept having to re-do one of the pictures because it wasn't sitting in her mouth correctly to get a good enough view.  I heard her say, "Where is Mommy?"  It made me so sad!   I tried to help her, but they politely asked me to go sit back down.  She survived and was happy that they don't have to take x-rays every time.  She got a great report and is cavity free!  Woo Hoo!  I'm so proud of your Karcie!

Later that day we picked up Bailey from school and these two had a fun day of playing both inside and outside!

Dr. Carter

On Wednesday, we made our way to Dr. Carter's office.  Seems so weird calling him that.  The girls know him as Patrick so we just stick with Mr. Patrick. :)  Kamdyn was due for a cleaning.  She was going to a new dentist here in Apex next month, but she felt much more comfortable seeing Patrick.  So, off we went with Baby Sister in tow.  Baby Sister was happy as a lark with her I-Pad.  She even took her turn in the chair and let Dr. Carter check out her teeth!  Thanks, Patrick!  See you in 6 months!  Oh and if you don't have a dentist in the Anderson/Easley/Greenville area, I highly recommend Hopewell Family Denistry!
