Silly Elves!

These silly elves had to up their game this year.  They have been around since Kamdyn was 2.  Man, they had to really get creative this year to try not to replicate any old tricks.  Someone Kamdyn has been watching very closely!!

Richard took the girls to see Christmas lights at this house outside of Apex.  Apparently it was pretty awesome and was set to music.  They even handed out candy to each of the cars who came to see.

I can't even begin to describe how busy the month of December was for us.  I mean, who schedules a vacation in the middle of December?  And who would have thought that our Tigers would take us to so many places in December?  All I can say is that I am now on the other side of December and I can finally breathe again.  Whew!!

The elves had a tough year!  Kamdyn left questions for the elves and wanted answers.  Well, she asked what their favorite food was.  Hershey's Hugs.....duh?!?!

Richard also went out of town for work for a week in December.  What?  So Kamdyn got to sleep with me.  Sweet little angel!

I went to wake Karcie up one morning and found her upside down in her bed like this.  Actually, this is how I felt the ENTIRE month of December....upside down!

Tick Tock and Thyme

These two arrived on December 1st on our Christmas Tree with a reminder letter for these girls to be extra sweet this Christmas season.  Here's where they were on Day 2!  Silly Elves!

The Return of Tick Tock and Thyme

They're Back!!  In fact, they were hanging from the TV when we returned from Thanksgiving.  Karcie is really getting in to finding these elves each morning.  Luckily, she stays far away from them and knows not to touch!!  Here are a few of the antics that we've caught these silly elves participating in thus far!

Tick Tock and Thyme

Tick Tock arrived at our house this year the day after Thanksgiving.  After a week of attempting to follow these girls all alone, Santa decided that another elf was needed.  Thyme arrived and appeared to be the "good" elf.  Tick Tock continued his debauchery.  After it was apparent that Tick Tock was the mischievous one, Kamdyn decided that Thyme must be her elf since Kamdyn is our rule follower and Karcie is our mischievous little stinker.  :)  Karcie was so in to the elves this year.  As soon as we went into her room each morning, she said, "Tick Tock!"  She couldn't wait to find them each day.

This one cracks me up!  Tick Tock didn't make it inside one night.  He is peeking in and left a note for Thyme.

Looks like Thyme was getting tired of Tick Tock's antics, too.

They even drew all over Karcie and Kamdyn's photos with mustaches, whiskers, glasses, etc.
