A New Vacation View

Well, it's official!  We are the proud owners of a lake lot on Kerr Lake in Clarksville, VA.  After a year without being waterfront and after deciding that NC will be home for a while, Richard needed his water view.  We started looking in January for lake homes that were already built.  Because this is a Corp lake, most of the houses are up in the trees and the lake is barely visible.  The few houses that we did find that were on actual "lake" lots were really old and pricey.  We had just about given up, when we found this GREAT flow easement lot where we now own all the way to the lake.  As big as this lot looks though, it has been a nightmare trying to squeeze a house into the "buildable" area to avoid set backs, corp lines, etc.  We finally found something that works and are planning to have a lake "cottage" by July 4th!!  We hope to have lots of visitors!!
