What? She just turned 2 what seems likes yesterday? As if she hadn't already had a great Easter weekend and TONS of birthday celebrations and gifts prior to her BIG day, she woke to find this fabulous gift on the bar. She didn't know what to do. She certainly didn't want to go to school that morning. She had Wii on the brain! Mom had her first conference with her teacher bright and early, so the Wii had to wait. Mrs. Dunn filled my ears with nothing but marvelous things about my big girl. This Mama sure was proud to hear from someone else all of the things that I already know to be true about my girl.
Later that day, Richard, Karcie, and I headed to school to have lunch with Kamdyn. It's the first year she has been in school for her birthday. She's our Augusta Spring Break Baby so we are usually just starting Spring Break when her birthday rolls around. She loved wearing the birthday hat and enjoyed having us for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised that little Karcie stayed on the seat at the lunchroom tables and ate lunch like a big girl! She only escaped once or twice which mortified rule-following Kamdyn. :)
During snack time, Karcie and I went back to the school to take snacks and drinks for her class. They sang Happy Birthday to her again and enjoyed cupcakes and Capri Sun. Karcie loved pretending to be a "big kid" again. We even got to enjoy recess outside with them.

| Mommy and Daddy look sleepy eyed! They must have had an exciting weekend. Easter and a birthday within a few days of each other will wear a Mommy and Daddy out! :) |
| Happy as a clam with her Mommy and Sissy at school with her. |
| Gotta get that frosting first. :) |
| A glimpse of her entire classroom. |
| Then, they had reading time. Mia and Kamdyn tried to read to Karcie. |
| They tried again, but to no avail. |
| This little boy was trying to show Karcie the fish in the tank. |
| Karcie enjoyed being outside on the playground. She paid absolutely no attention to the big kids. She plowed her way through to the slides and down them. |
| She tried to wear the hat! |
| Kamdyn was climbing on the spider web thingy on their playground. We sure enjoyed spending the day with her at her new school. |
