Richard has been in London all week. Our last week in our house and he had to go to London. Crazy, I know! He traveled home on a crazy weather day, too. His flight was scheduled to get into Augusta at 4:30 and we were looking forward to picking him up. However, after two times of boarding and unboarding a plane due to mechanical issues, a completely different plane, the windiest, rainiest, most horrible landing that he ever remembers, and a taxi cab ride later, he arriveed home at 9:30. He had been awake for 24 hours. Poor thing! As you can imagine, I was freaking out!! I was so happy when he walked into the door.
On Friday, he cleaned up the golf cart to get it ready to be transported by the moving company to Raleigh. Karcie HAD to go for a ride despite the fact that the golf cart was soaked! It's one of the last rides that these two will have in this neighborhood on the golf cart. Yes, we are all sad. We love our neighborhood so much. We just hope and pray that we will grow to love our new neighborhood and home in Raleigh just as much.
