Holly Springs Dance Open House

Karcie went to Holly Spring School of Dance last year.  This year, Kamdyn and Campbell will be going there, too.  They had a fabulous Open House and Meet the Teacher night.  These kids couldn't wait to play on the bouncy house!

Sweet friends!!

Kamdyn and Sydney spent at week at gymnastics camp.  One afternoon after camp, I have five girlies at our house.  They are the sweetest little girls!  We couldn't ask for better neighborhood friends!

I picked up these four girls after camp one day. Ava was coming over for a play-date and we were car pooling with the other two.  The SUV was MAXED out and I love it!!  So sad to see summer end!

Check Ups!

These two were overdue for their check-ups this year.  Luckily, I was able to take them at the same time.  I had prepared Karcie for the shots that I knew she would get.  And she took them like a champ!  You truly just never know what to expect with these kiddos.  Both girls are as healthy as can be and for that I am thankful!

Sweet Sisters!

Crazy face!

This is what I think about shots!!

K Girls in the Upstate

These two got to spend the weekend in the Upstate of SC while we were in Georgetown.  They spent their weekend with Nanny, Aunt Kathy, Uncle Jim, and Ruthie.

Nanny took them to visit our two Aunts....Brenda and Tina.  She didn't send me any photos though.

Aunt Kathy and Uncle Jim took the girls to the Greenville Zoo.  They went to Sticky Fingers for lunch.  Then, they went to the toy store and candy store downtown.

That evening they went to Ruthie's house for dinner and more spoiling!!  They really weren't ready to come back home to their boring parents.

Thanks so much to all of you for loving our girls so very much!  We are so thankful and blessed!

The Black River

We finally got to take our annual trip to The Black River this year.  We skipped last year because we couldn't find a weekend that worked for everyone.  Allison and I were the only two girls, but it was super fun!!

Shannon, Omar, Richard and I arrived Thursday evening.  It was a low key night.

On Friday, Potter, Patrick, and ,my dear friend from high school, Brady arrived.  There are a lot of complications in that statement, but let's just leave it at the three of them were SUPPOSED to ride together.  One overslept and had to find his way to Georgetown!!  ;)  We took the pontoon to one of our favorite restaurants, The River Room.  I got to enjoy some delicious shrimp and grits.  Potter also surprised us with some delicious not-so-delicious, but cute pink and blue drinks to predict the gender of his newest baby that is on the way.  We all had to hold up the color that we predicted to drink first.  I chose blue!!  Guess what???  A baby boy is on the way!!  So excited for the sweet Potter Family.

We took a leisurely boat ride back.  Allison came later that night.

We floated on Saturday.  All. Day. Long.  It was super fun!  Just as Shannon was getting ready to start the little boat that was floating with us, he realized that we had lost the propeller at some point along the way.  We had some River "friends" rescue us.  We floated to their dock and ended up hanging out with them most of the night.  We even had dinner down there.  It was really weird because we had so many mutual friends/connections with these people who stopped to help us.  They were having the same sort of get together with friends that we were having.

It was a great weekend with friends!  Can't wait until next year!

Best group of guys that I know!!

We ran from the storm!!

A boat named Kimberly L.  :)

Pink and Blue!!

Yay for Little Boys!

Boat Ride back from The River Room!  Love these dudes!

This girl, Margaret Ann, that was hanging out with the folks who saved us on the River used to be babysat by my next door neighbor, Colleen!!  So crazy!  We had to take a pic to send to Colleen!  We had to run around in our swimsuits that night because our clothes were at the house.  Luckily, one girl let me put on one of her outfits over my swimsuit!

Week in Augusta

This trip was kind of unexpected.  Richard was called to come back to Aiken for a week.  We didn't have anything to do, so we went with him.  It was fun to be back in a place that we loved so dearly for 12 years!  We got to visit with friends and visit places that we miss.  Sadly, my friends were already back at school so I didn't get to see them like I had planned.  I did get to go to dinner with Denise one night, but completely forgot to get a photo of the two of us.

Karcie, Kamdyn, and I hung by the pool for two days!  Jacob and Georgia joined us for one of the days.  My phone was dead so no pics that day.

While Daddy works.....

....his girls play!!

I visited the hotel workout room one morning.  I reaffirmed how much I LOATHE working out on a treadmill.  Hate. It. More. Than, Anything.  But, you do what you gotta do when on vacation!
Starbucks at the Mall!

Georgia took these sweet kiddos to the Mall and to Chuck E. Cheese.

Karcie announced, "My Mommy won't take me to Chuck E. Cheese, but my Georgie will!"  True story, Karcie!  But I did stop by to see what they were doing.

Jacob and Kamdyn pick up right where they leave off.  It's funny to see the bond that was made by the two of them at such a young age.  I hope they will always be friends!

Big pizza for some hungry kiddos!

Dancing with Chuck E.  Kamdyn is breaking it down right here!

I did make it to Jazzercise one morning....the only morning they had class while I was there.  I surely miss Loralee!  She's my inspiration and truly the reason that I fell in love with Jazzercise many years ago.  She turned 60 in July and looks WAY younger!!  Proof that exercising and taking care of yourself keeps you young!!

She has also always loved my babies which makes her even that much more special to us!!  WE were all happy to see her.  We took her a birthday card and gift card to celebrate her!

I drove the girls by our very first house in North Augusta.  Mill Branch Way....I will never forget it and all the memories made there!

I met Nanny in Greenwood on Wednesday so she could get the girls.  I bought the girls brand new Nikes for school.  They couldn't wait to wear them around Nanny's house.

Cuteness!

Kamdyn sent this photo of Karcie to me.

So I sent these photos back to them!

Thank you Nanny for keeping our girls so that we could enjoy an adult weekend!  We certainly had a great time!!

More Lake Fun! (nope, we don't get tired of it!!)

As soon as VBS was over, we were packed and ready to head to the lake for another weekend!  We did things a little differently this time.  We took evening boat cruises and did a little fishing in the evenings, too!  The girls and I had some selfie fun while we were waiting on the fish to jump in the boat.  The weather was absolutely perfect....sunshiny days, no humidity, and cool temps!

We had two fish on at a time.  I thought Richard would have a heart attack!

These jokers got all tied up and both of them ended up dead.  :(

He was so happy to have us fishing with him!

The sunset was gorgeous again!

Thank you, Jesus, for all of our blessings!

Selfie fun begins now!!

Crazy lake hair....don't care!!

Love this girl so incredibly much!!

The Cap'n and his girls!!

I tried to get Richard to take a selfie, but he wasn't having it!

Me and my Man at sunset!!

Check out this perfect corkscrew curl that her hair made all on it's own!!

Practicing for our upcoming trip to The Black River!!
