Princess Dance Camp

Karcie and Campbell enjoyed at week at Princess Dance Camp from 10:00-12:00 each day.  They dressed up as a different princess every day and they did a different princess themed dance each day.  They seemed to have a fun time.  The last day the parents go to come watch.  They had refreshments and Cinderella came to visit, too!

The Pumpkin Patch

All of the traditional calendar kiddos were out of school last Monday.  We took advantage of the day by taking them to the pumpkin patch.  They had a super time with each other.  This was our first time at this pumpkin patch.  It was a little pricey for the activities that they offered, but it was not far from home and the kids loved it!  We may try the one that is further away next year.....if I plan better!  :)  We sure do love our Kirk Family!

Campbell's Birthday

Karcie and Kamdyn adore Campbell.  But, Karcie REALLY loves Campbell and says that she is her best friend.  I couldn't have chose a better BFF for her.  We were in Clemson on her birthday party day, so we made it up to her by taking her to Paint Your Pot and Chick-fil-A.  These girls had the best time painting, laughing, and being silly.  The little girls painted little owls.  Kamdyn painted a rainbow trinket box.  I can't wait to pick them up next week!

We are so thankful for such great Apex friends and neighbors!

Happy Birthday Campbell!

2nd Day of School!

This was at the end of the 2nd day......Kamdyn and Campbell dressed alike on Kamdyn's 2nd day of school and Campbell's first day of Kindergarten.  This is what happens when the Moms are neighbors, shop at the same stores, and one happens to have a monogram machine!!  

Kamdyn saw Campbell at lunch and they were both super excited to see each other.  Kamdyn said that a teacher walked up to her and said, "Is that your little sister?"  Kamdyn said, "No, but she kind of is.  She is my neighbor and we spend a lot of time together."  

Kamdyn has made a point to sit with Campbell each afternoon on the bus to be sure that Campbell is where she is supposed to be and not scared.  Kamdyn has the sweetest and most thoughtful little heart!!

Holly Springs Dance Open House

Karcie went to Holly Spring School of Dance last year.  This year, Kamdyn and Campbell will be going there, too.  They had a fabulous Open House and Meet the Teacher night.  These kids couldn't wait to play on the bouncy house!

Princess Dance Camp

Karcie went to Frozen Dance Camp for an entire week.  It kind of made me sad as I dropped her off at carpool each morning.  She is growing up way too fast for my liking!  She got out of the car everyday like a big girl and never looked back.  She is so confident and is never scared to try new things or to be around new people, kids, or adults.  I love this about her!

On the last day they had a little recital to show some of the things they had done throughout the week.  I loved watching her.  Sadly, my phone storage was full so most of the photos/videos are on Colleen's IPad and I have yet to get them from her.  

It was a great week and she is constantly asking to go back again!
