Here are a few pics from our windy, frigid tailgate this weekend when we played Duke. YIKES!! I can't believe how windy and cold it was after the game.

Family Picture
Everyone was making fun of my BIG puffer jacket! But, I was warm and that was all that mattered to me at the moment! :)
At least I didn't look like this!! Just teasing, sweetie!!
What was in that BIG jug and where did all of it go?

Here Comes Mama Lucy and Ruthie!
Mama Lucy spent last week with us here in North Augusta. Ruthie brought Mama Lucy on Tuesday and she stayed with us until Friday when we traveled back to the Upstate for the Clemson game. Kamdyn had a fabulous time with Mama Lucy. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of them. :( I guess I'm a bad Mommy! Sometimes I just forget about the camera during the busy work week.
So here is Kamdyn waving down the road when she sees Ruthie's new little red car coming toward our house! She was so happy to see both Mama Lucy and Ruthie!

Lunch with Ana Blake and Mrs. Denise
I'm a little behind in posting; however, last Tuesday we were out of school for Veteran's Day. Kamdyn and I met Mrs. Denise and Ana Blake for lunch at Red Lobster. Kamdyn LOVES Ana Blake and so do I! Kamdyn sat in between Ana Blake and her friend, Emily! Ana Blake "took over" and I actually get to enjoy some time chatting with my dear friend, Denise. We LOVE you Ana Blake and Mrs. Denise!

A Few More Funnies
I promise to post some new pics this evening, but until then, these will have to do!
Comments from Kamdyn this weekend:
"I get to go to Nanny and Pop Pop's and play playdough, play make-up, eat lots of snacks....." (We've been trying to limit her snacks so she will eat more during her meals. You see that she knows where to go to have all of the rules thrown out!)
"Jacob holds his pee pee!" (She said this out-of-the-blue in the car.)
"That's not funny, Richard!" (She said this to her Daddy when he laughed at her!)
"I need to talk to someone in here!" (She said this in the middle of the night at Nanny and Pop Pop's house.)

Comments to Remember
I like to make certain that I document those little sayings that Kamdyn uses so eloquently, as if she has been on this Earth for at least 10 years. Don't get me wrong, some of her "sayings" are out of context, but most of them are right on target.
Yesterday, Richard and Kamdyn were throwing a ball from the top balcony to downstairs. Kamdyn was upstairs and Richard was downstairs. Yes, I allowed this to go on as I cringed every time that the ball was thrown up or down. I foresee a broken object in our new future. Anyway.....so Richard is getting tired of throwing the ball up and over the balcony and says, "Kamdyn, it's time to stop playing. How many more times?" Well, we were expecting her to say something like one more time or two more times. Instead she yells out, "Five times Six times!" HMMM......multiplication already????
Also, on Friday, Richard picked Kamdyn up early from GEorgia when he came back from Canada. Georgia's house is near the airport. Kamdyn threw somewhat of a fit because she said, "I want to stay and play at Georgia's!" What can I say? The child loves being at Georgia's more than her own house. Anyway, so Richard asked her how much longer she wanted to stay. Again, he was thinking that she would say five minutes or something of the sort. NOPE! She said, "Mmm, how about 30 more minutes?"

A Beautiful Day on the River
Yesterday was such a nice day. It was a bit windy, but still a beautiful November day. College crew teams were having an event on the river. We enjoyed watching all of the teams row by. They rowed ALL day! We especially enjoyed hearing the college chants across the river. Who knew that people tailgated for rowing?? Our favorite, of course, was hearing, "1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4, C-L-E-M-S-O-N, T-I-G-E-R-S, Fight Tigers, Fight Tigers, Fight, Fight, Fight!!" Kamdyn has been saying, "Fight Tigers, Fight Tigers, Fight, Fight, Fight" since hearing the chants across the river. I only wish those Tigers had some fight left when playing Florida State last night!
Can you tell how windy it was? Her hair was a MESS!!!
How sweet!
Peeking at me through the grass.
Taken from the deck.
Spending time with Daddy!
The people tailgating and cheering across the river.

Sunday Fun in North Augusta
Richard went fishing early Sunday morning with Potter and Potter's "little brother." Click here to read the comical reviews. Kamdyn and I stayed home with Nanny and Pop Pop until they left. After Kamdyn's nap, Richard was home and outside washing his boat. It was such a nice day outside that we decided to join him. While standing outside, Kamdyn's new neighborhood friend, Catherine, came over with her Dad to visit. Catherine wanted to play in Kamdyn's playroom. They played at our house for a while and then went down to Catherine's to play for a while. Catherine just turned 4 and I am so glad that Kamdyn has a friend right down the street to spend time with. Catherine is so sweet and mannerly. I do not mind having her over at all!
Enjoying an afternoon snack while watching Daddy clean his boat.
