Karcie had her dance recital the weekend of Mother's Day. Nanny came to visit and we were thrilled that she got to see our girl in action. Karcie did great and even gave some smiles especially once she spotted us in the audience.
Karcie's class was lucky and got to dance to "Let It Go." The little Elsa's were so adorable!
This was the sweetest day ever! We missed it last year because we were on vacation. I love every minute of our little celebration.
The teachers asked the kids questions about their Moms prior to this day. They read the answers aloud and we had to figure out which child answered the questions about which Mom.
Karcie said that I was 60!! (gasp!)
She said my favorite place to shop was Old Navy. ( we went there the day before, but definitely not my fave!)
I love that she says I like to monogram stuff! Actually, I like it less now that I HAVE to do it for work!
My precious Karcie has stolen my heart and I feel so lucky to be her Mommy! She tests my patience on a daily basis, but I love her spunk and sass. She will be a strong woman one day and I can't wait to watch her little life unfold. Thank you for my daily snuggles and kisses, Karcie! No one loves me the way that you do!
Kamdyn had a super fun time at her end of year chorus celebration at Phillip's Farm. Little sister had fun following the big girls around. The big girls are always so sweet to let Karcie tag along. It was a good family night for all of us!
Kamdyn as some of the sweetest little friends in Apex. And, although, we are sad that some of them stayed at Olive Chapel, we are happy that she still stays in touch with them.
Mia turned 10 and had a sleepover. Her parents were brave and took them all out for pizza at a favorite pizza joint called Mama Mia! How fitting for Mia's party!
Kamdyn loves her sweet friends and loves every chance that she gets with them!
Karcie was a funny little soccer player! When she was attentive, she really was pretty good. Unfortunately, she often went to "Karcie-land" and would be totally disconnected at times on the field. We spent much of our time on the sidelines trying to keep her focused! We are going to try soccer again next year because I really think she can be good if we keep her focused. To be continued.....
Right after the soccer game, we headed to the lake. The water was still much too cold for swimming so we enjoyed some time fishing from the dock. The girls have really started enjoying fishing from the dock....IF they are catching!
