I'm a Cat....MEOW!

She cracks me UP in this Janimals Cat suit.  She will escape upstairs and come back dressed as a cat in the craziest of times.  On this particular day, she went from being a cutting cat to a cat in a box within seconds.  You just never know with her!  She keeps us in stitches around here.  She asked me if I wanted to try getting in the box.  While I was pleased that she thought I could fit in the box, there was NO WAY that anything but my feet were fitting into that box.

Note: She writes and eats left handed, but appears to do everything else with her right hand. 

Life as the Little Sister

Karcie is such a trooper!  She is often stuck trying to entertain herself while waiting on Kamdyn at different activities.   We take her  Kamdyn's old activity backpack everywhere that we go!   She is  really starting to love drawing, coloring, and writing!!  AND, she can finally write her name.   All.  By.  Herself.  Halleujah!!  We are still working on recognizing those letters.  It's not her favorite thing.  She will get there though.  She did look me in the face the other day when we were working on her letters and she said very matter-of-factly, "I don't want to learn my letters and I don't want to learn to read!"  Alrighty then, sassy pants.  I'm afraid that's just not an option!

If You Go to The Car Wash with Karcie.....

You might get an ENTIRE "Let It Go" rendition!  This girl sang and danced like NO ONE was watching.  Of course, they were watching.  The guys cleaning my car were getting the biggest kick out of her.  I have it on video, too.  This girl is a stinker and I love that she isn't afraid to do her own thing no matter where she is or who is watching.  She definitely brings new meaning to the saying, "Dance like No On is Watching!!"  Keep on singing, baby girl!  You make me proud to be your Mommy!

Lake Life

This title is for you Shannon Carter!! ;)  I know how you love livin' the "Salt Life!"

Anywho, we made our way back to the lake MLK, Jr. weekend when Kamdyn was out of school.  Now that Kamdyn's games are on Saturdays, we can't get to the lake until Saturdays.  This was a good long weekend to visit.  The weather was even semi-nice for a January weekend.

Sweet Girls!!

These two can fight like no other, but most of the time they play so sweetly together!!  Kamdyn is such a great big sister and Karcie looks up to her so much.  Grateful doesn't even being to describe my feelings for these two.

Library with Georgie

Georgia came to visit us a few weeks ago!  These were the only two photos that I took.  Boo!  While Kamdyn was at school, we took Karcie to Preschool Storytime at the Library.  This girl totally amazed me!!  It's no secret that she is typically my "wild child!"  However, she was one of the ONLY kids at storytime who sat, listened to the stories, and followed the directions of the librarian.  One time Karcie leaned over and said to me, "They aren't doing what she told them to do!!"  Hmmmm.....pot calling the kettle black??  I guess I can live with the fact that she has a hard time listening at home.  As long as she is perfect in public and with her teachers, I will be a happy camper!!  Thanks for visiting with us, Georgia!  We are ready for you to come back again!

Spelling Bee!!

Kamdyn won her class Spelling Bee again this year!!  We are SO proud of this little girl!  She moved on to the school Spelling Bee.  Last year she finished third.  This year, she didn't get quite as far, but it's not because she didn't study REALLY hard.  She knew those words!! 450 of them to be exact!!  Words that we had never seen before.  I had to Google most of them and have the computer pronounce them for us.  She got stumped on a word by over-thinking it.  She was so disappointed in herself.  She had such high expectations after last year.  She is so hard on herself!!  She reminds me of someone else that I know.  

We, however, couldn't be more proud of her.  It's an honor to be in the Spelling Bee and she did her best!!  

Her sweet little friends and classmates came to cheer her on!  That made her super happy, but also made her even more upset when she misspelled her word.  :(

Jazzercise Friends!

I love Jazzercise for many, many reasons.  Mostly I love it because it keeps me healthy and fit.  But I also love all of the awesome friends it has brought into my life.  Our kiddos spend countless hours playing together in the Jazzercise childcare room as their Mamas work hard on staying fit and healthy....... so that we can keep up with these energetic kiddos!!  It's so fun getting together outside of Jazzercise and including our husbands, too.  The Jessups had us all over the other night.  We enjoyed such delicious food!!  Whoever hosts next has BIG shoes to fill.
