If You Go to The Car Wash with Karcie.....

You might get an ENTIRE "Let It Go" rendition!  This girl sang and danced like NO ONE was watching.  Of course, they were watching.  The guys cleaning my car were getting the biggest kick out of her.  I have it on video, too.  This girl is a stinker and I love that she isn't afraid to do her own thing no matter where she is or who is watching.  She definitely brings new meaning to the saying, "Dance like No On is Watching!!"  Keep on singing, baby girl!  You make me proud to be your Mommy!

Halloween 2014

Halloween was lots of fun this year!  Our neighborhood is filled with children so you can imagine the mayhem on the streets as all of the children move in masses around the neighborhood.  It was extra fun for the adults this year because it was on a Friday.  Some neighbors had coolers full of adult beverages that they were handing out as we made our way around the entire neighborhood.

Colleen and I decided to have Low Country Boil (crock-pot style) for the adults and hot dogs for the kiddos.  A few of our other neighbors joined in on the festivities, too.  Everyone came over to our backyard to eat before the trick-or-treating began.  After eating we all scurried off to our houses to get all costumed up. Elsa and Anna couldn't wait to make their debut.....especially since they were SO original this year!!  Honestly, we didn't have another Elsa and Anna pair in our neighborhood so it worked out fine.

The weather was perfect!  After we hit all the houses in the neighborhood we came back to our house for Smores around the fire pit.  The adults hung out a little longer than the kiddos.  They ended up in our house watching a movie until almost midnight!

And with Mommy.  Elsa looks like she needs to have her roots touched up a big!  ;)

Attempts for a group photo are always fun!

They never all looked at once.

First stop was across the street to Ms. Danielle's house.  She stayed warm by the fire while she handed out candy.

Then we ran into these sweet girls....Marilyn and Emily.

Stopping by Morgan's house for some loot!

Shenanigans at the fire pit.  Mr. Brian wanted to wear the Anna wig!

Karcie's Frozen Party

Karcie had a super time at her "Frozen" party!  After hearing her and Kamdyn recite the song lyrics and words to the movie for months, I knew this had to be her party theme......along with every other little girl in the world.  We invited a few of her neighborhood friends.  Sadly, no one from our family was able to come to her party.  Thankfully, Georgia and Randy, who are about as close to family as we could possibly get, were able to stay the entire weekend.  Georgia was such a big help to me!!  I couldn't have survived and got everything done without her.  She even brought Jacob with her which REALLY surprised Kamdyn!!  Since Nanny couldn't come, she sent Elsa instead.  Karcie didn't know what to think about Elsa at first, but quickly warmed up to her.  Elsa read a story, took photos with the kids, and joined in on the party fun before she had to get back to Arendale!  ;)

Georgia made all of the children Frozen applique shirts with their names on them.  They were a BIG hit and were part of their party favors to take home.  Several parents have told me that their children want to wear their new shirt EVERY day!!  Thank you, Georgia.  They were perfect!!

We are so thankful that we have found such great friends here in Apex to share special memories with.  I don't know what we would do without them!!

Happy Birthday, sweet Karcie.  We love you so much!

I love that Karcie's sippie cup is on this table.  :)

The little girls didn't want her to leave.
