Karcie's Favorite Song

Thanks to Nanny's love of this song, Karcie's favorite song for a while now has been Thomas Rhett's Crash and Burn.  She thinks I can just cue it up in the car.  Sadly, I don't have a smart car yet, so I can't just pull it up on YouTube.  When it finally comes on the radio, she loses her mind singing and dancing!!  We were parked last week at dance so I was finally able to capture it on video.
She. Cracks. Me. Up.
I adore this girl!!

Blessing!

I won't lie and say that we sit at the table all together every single night and have dinner.  We try, but it sometimes just doesn't work out with all of our busy schedules.  I also won't lie and say that I remember to say the blessing nightly like I should!  Luckily, we have these two little blessings to help us remember to say the blessing each night.  I can't imagine a sweeter blessing than this.  Kamdyn learned this blessing many years ago at Grace CDC when she was in Preschool.  We still sing it and now Karcie does, too.  I hate that Karcie won't get the wonderful experience that Kamdyn did at Grace CDC, but we are hoping that we find some place just as great here in Apex.We are so thankful for these two and all of our MANY blessings!

Guitar Pickin' and Singin'

I could watch this ALL day!  Richard plays the guitar very sporadically.  In fact, he does it so little he has to really practice when he decides to learn a song.  The past few weeks I have heard "Colder Weather" by Zac Brown Band and "Southern State of Mind" by Darius Rucker at least a million times.  Kamdyn has joined in on the fun because she enjoys performing.  In fact, as I type she is on the laundry basket turned upside down, brush as microphone, and she is singing the guitar music to "Colder Weather."  :)  Check out their "concert" last night.  Kamdyn likes to sing to her own tempo and her own way even when Richard tries to help her.  You can see the two of them as their opinions differ on the video.
