Happy New Year

Our 2012 started off great.  We rang in the new year with  both girls in bed by 7:30 and we were in bed by 10:30.  Fireworks were sounding off everywhere.  In fact, they were so loud around our house at midnight that I woke up and saw that it was 12:02.  My how the times have changed!

We tried to go bowling on New Year's Day, but the bowling alley was having their own party.  So, we  decided to wait until Jan. 2 to avoid the crowd.  We had a great time!  I went to Jazzercise and met Richard and the girls.  Richard always says that I beat him in everything!  Well, I did win the first game, but he got me the second game.  But, I must mention that the bumpers were up.  Someone on the scoreboard with an "R" had no shame in using the bumpers to help him win the second game.  I had too many 9's and not enough strikes and/or spares.  I am ready to go back again.  I love a good competition!

Happy as could be watching us.  It seemed as if she were cheering us on!  She would squeal after we took our turn!

Go Daddy!

Kammie style!

LOVE my sweet girl!

Mommy Jazzer-style!

Richard was trying to  cover up the score.  "H" is for Helms and she was the winner!

Our  cheerleader went to sleep on us.  I guess we were too boring!

Game 2 goes to "R!"  I am ready for game three!

Bowling for the First Time

Kamdyn's friend from school, Cori, had a bowling party last Sunday. We arrived late to the party without the present because we spent two hours at the Sunday Clinic after driving two hours back from a Clemson football weekend. Richard dropped us off at the party. In the meantime he went to get Kamdyn's prescription filled and went to our house to pick up Cori's present. He remembered everything except the tissue paper! :( Oh well! The important thing is that we made it to the party and the present arrived just in time. Kamdyn has some practicing to do with bowling, but she seemed to love it!

Kamdyn said, "Mom, these shoes are cool!"

This was almost a strike!

Granny shot through the legs. 6 lbs is still heavy for a 4 year old to handle!
