Mama Lucy and Cousin Time!

After our time at the Pumpkin Patch we made our way to Mama Lucy's house for a football weekend.  Kamdyn and Karcie played outside while we waited for The Florida Terrys to arrive.  You can tell they are used to the warm Florida weather.  Vera has bare legs!    The girls had a little bit of play time before dinner and bedtime.  Notice that everyone has their own mobile device.  Vera loved Kamdyn from the get-go, but the jury is still out on her love for Karcie.  :)  We wish that we got to see little Ve-Ve more, but we will settle for the time that we do have with her.  You can tell how much Mama Lucy enjoyed having all three of her great grands in one room!

The Pumpkin Patch

We took the girls to a local church pumpkin patch as we were on our way to the Upstate for a football game.  Karcie had a great time.  It was kind of funny because she looked for the tiniest pumpkins! 

Church Carnival

We almost didn't make it to this year's church carnival.  It was a Sunday afternoon after a football weekend.  We stayed longer in the Upstate on that Sunday to spend extra time with Uncle Matthew, Aunt Holly, and Vera.  Needless to say, we stepped into our house, changed into costumes, and ran out the door to the carnival.  The girls had a great time!  I was glad we pushed through the tiredness and went for the sake of the girls.  Karcie loved the duck pond just as Kamdyn did at this age.  We chased her around, but mostly just let her roam.  We were paranoid as to what Kamdyn was going to do at this age.  We are much more relaxed with Karcie!  Kamdyn won our favorite cake in the cake walk again this year!  She is a lucky little pro at the cake walk!  We enjoyed the cream cheese pound cake with chocolate frosting for days to come!  Our little Princess and the Pea tire us out, but they sure do make us happy!

Mama Lucy

We always enjoy football season because we get to spend lots of time with family. Mama Lucy's house is always a favorite for our sweet girls!

We love spending Friday nights with Mama Lucy prior to football games.

Uncle Matthew had this for his Halloween costume and insisted that Kamdyn wear it.  She HATED the smell inside and held her breath when she put it on.

I am way behind so I am going to attempt to catch up.  These posts will probably be in no particular order because I have photos on our compact digital camera, our big digital camera, and my phone.  It has taken me about 45 minutes to get the photos uploaded and organized.  This is why I hate to get behind!  So here goes!

We took Kamdyn to a few games this year just to the tailgate.  I think I already posted a photo of Kamdyn and Ellie playing during this particular tailgate from my phone, but these were on my camera.  Richard loves taking Kamdyn with us!

Do NOT pass GO! Do not collect $200!

GO STRAIGHT TO JAIL!!!  This game occupied our entire weekend.  Kamdyn got this game for Christmas last year from Nanny.  We haven't been adventurous enough to try it with her.  I caved on Friday night and decided to give it a try.  She did great and LOVES it!!  Do you know how many hours it takes to play ONE game of Monopoly?  Let's just say that I couldn't hardly get up off of the floor after our game was finally over.  I played Friday and Saturday with her.  She finally convinced Daddy to play on Sunday.  He was looking for ways to sabotage the game so that it would end.  ;)  Kamdyn was wise to him though!

Pappy Anyone?

Karcie is getting a little curious about the potty; however, she's not really interested in it's intended use.  This is where we found her Pappy the other day along with a screaming Karcie.  YUCK!!
