We missed this last year and I don't know how Kamdyn let us forget! She loves to go! We had to go this year because we needed a beautiful photo with Santa and the girls. We went the Monday before Christmas and knew that it would be CROWDED! And, it was! We got there right before it opened and high tailed it to the back gate. We didn't wait in line at all and were to the Santa house, 3rd in line, before the long line of people even moved at the front gate. Karcie was sound asleep and I just knew when she awakened to a big man with red and lots of white fur that she would be terrified. But, she wasn't! She looked around. Check everyone out, including Santa, and gave the camera one of her beautiful smiles! We were allowed to take a few photos of our own, but the "real" photo will be on here soon.
After checking out Santa and giving him our list, we made it to the hayride to see the lights. We didn't have to wait in line for this either. We were done with everything in less than an hour. We joked because it took longer for our hot chocolate to cool than it did for us to do everything there. One of Kamdyn's favorite thing to do is play on the playground. Karcie hung in there the entire time and didn't fuss a bit despite the fact that we were running into her bedtime. And, guess who we ran into there? Jacob and his family! For Kamdyn, it was the perfect night.....no lines, not too cold, picture with Santa, hayride to look at lights, playground, and JACOB! :)
