End of Dance and End of Preschool

I won't lie.  I shed some tears when I picked Karcie up for the last time at preschool.  I don't know how we got here so fast!  I will never take one of my kiddos to preschool again.  It just makes me sad.

She wasn't sad in the least!  She has always embraced each new change that she has faced with a big HUGE smile and a whole lot of SILLINESS!  I love this about her!

We were so blessed to have experienced preschool at Apex Baptist.  Karcie learned so much about loving God and each other.  She learned to pray from her hear and I'm telling you...her prayers can bring you to your knees.

We will always be proud of you, Karcie Laine!

And just like that.....we have closed another chapter in this little girl's life.  Summer, here we come!!

Karcie's Birthday Celebration at School

We REALLY drug out Karcie's birthday this year!  She had so many celebrations that she didn't really know when her real birthday was.  I didn't mind a bit though and neither did she!  You only turn Five once!!  She was happy to be a whole hand!

She decided on a Frozen themed cake for her school celebration.  Whatever floats your boat, Karcie-girl!

Kamdyn's Piano Recital

Kamdyn did so great at her piano recital!  We couldn't be more proud of this girl!  She amazes us every single day with her determination, intelligence, and will to succeed.  This girl is going to do great things!  She, of course, was hard on herself and thought she messed up, but we thought she did GREAT!  We love you, Kamdyn Lucy!

Two Concerts and Some Soccer

Nanny came to visit again so that Richard and I could see Chris Stapleton and Kenny Chesney!  Richard and I have both always loved concerts.  We were happy to get to see two of our very different, but favorite country singers!  Thanks so much, Nanny!  We love you and love the time that we get to spend alone with each other!

Allison put together a video for Shannon's 40th birthday.  This was our contribution.  Richard is cray  cray and came up with all of this on the fly!

Thankfully, my man is always thinking.  He got us covered seats because he knew that the rains were coming!  Otherwise, we would have been soaked!!

We still got wet because the bathrooms weren't under the cover!  I think they need to fix that!

Happy Birthday, Ruthie!

Ruthie's birthday was on May 17th.  She stayed an extra night after their trip to D.C. so we had to celebrate her birthday!!  Here's to many more, Ruthie!  We love you!

Kamdyn, Ruthie, and Richard go to Washington, D.C.

Ruthie gave Kamdyn a trip to D.C. for her 10th birthday.  It took a little while to figure out a weekend  that would work for everyone.  Kamdyn was so EXCITED when they finally figured out a date!

I can't narrate what all of their adventures entailed, but I do know that they spent a couple of days in D.C. and saw A LOT!!

Kamdyn had such a good time getting some one-on-one attention from two of her favorite people.  

Maybe I can convince Kamdyn to add captions under the photos explaining their trip!
