When The Cats Away...

Karcie will play!! Kamdyn spent the night at Georgia's tonight. Karcie enjoyed some time after her bath on Kamdyn's bed! Shh! Don't tell Kamdyn!!

Rain Rain Go Away!

Karcie and Kamdyn want to go outside and play!! Karcie has enjoyed watching the rain pound our deck. She wants us to take her outside in the rain! Not gonna happen though!!

The Pink Dipper

I took Kamdyn and Karcie to the park and to get ice cream last Friday. I had to take a photo of Karcie in this vintage high chair that The Pink Dipper had. I think it was older than me!!

Karcie Officially Walks

Karcie took off one night without any prompting.  I turned around and she was walking all over our house!  I love watching babies when they first learn to walk.  So precious!  Now we're preparing our house so that she doesn't get hurt.  She went straight for the steps.  I refuse to put up a permanent baby gate so we are using two of our bar stools to block the stairs instead.  We will see how long it lasts. She is opening cabinets, pulling things out, and does it even when you tell her "no!"  We have a lot of training to do!!  :)  She has learned some lessons the hard way already.  I love her determination.  I also love how she wants me to pick her up when she falls so she can lay her head on my should and get some sympathy.  She is full of personality....a BIG personality, I might add!  We love you Baby Karcie!

Crusin' The Monarch of the Seas (Part 1)

I can't even explain how needed this cruise was for Richard and for me!  In fact, one hectic weekend in March or April, I decided right then and there that I was planning a vacation for us.  I found an excellent deal with Royal Caribbean.  I sent it out to a few of our friends that I thought may be available to see if they wanted to join in.  And just like that, we were scheduled to sail on May 28th!

Carrie and Potter jumped at the opportunity and I have to say that they are an awesome cruise couple!  We had lots of giggles the entire week.  We relaxed!  Everyone did exactly what he/she wanted to do.  We relaxed some more!  We took a few excursions.  We rented a Hobie Cat at CocoCay.  It was awesome!  The Hobie Cat almost put me to sleep with the wind in my face: however, a few Bob Marley impersonators jumped on our boat singing "Don't Worry About a Thing."  That singing definitely kept me awake!  There was also alot of shifting from one side to another along with LOTS of scientific engineer discussions as to which way we should turn the boat each time.  The important thing was that we made it back to the shore....safely!

We celebrated Carrie and Potter's 4th Anniversary on our last night!  All I can say is that I am ready to go again.  I love a good cruise and this one did not disappoint!  I still have to figure out how to import Carrie's Google+ photos onto my Google+ account.  Then, I can share the other photos from our cruise!  Bon Voyage!!

Taken as the boat was departing from Cape Canaveral

Carrie was learning some new moves from one of the cruise dancers.

I mean, she was in full swing!  (Don't kill me for putting this on here, Carrie!)  It cracks me up!!

HEY!!

I was so proud of myself.  I am the QUEEN of motion sickness!  I didn't take medicine one time and I never even felt sick.  It was great!

Posing at CocoCay!  Coco Loco anyone?  Yes, please!!

There's the happy giggly couple!

Potter and Carrie got up on stage one night and danced with 3-4 other couples at the Captain's Reception.

Thanks, Captain, for the free vino and champagne!

This was our formal night!

We were too cheap to purchase all of these photos so we took a photo of the photos when no one was looking.  This was us as we were boarding the ship.

Dinner the first night.  Richard and Potter sat beside each other. Isn't that sweet?

Love these two!!

Jah Jah was our waiter.  He took good care of us while we were dining on The Monarch of the Seas!

Carrie was pumped to find at bat hanging when we returned to our rooms on the 2nd night!  Our silly bat was wearing my sunglasses!  :)

On day 3 we arrived at Nassau.

Look at these crazies!

We took a boat to The Blue Lagoon.  It was about a 30 minute scenic boat ride.

We loved our little excursion!

We passed Atlantis on our way there.

The entrance to The Blue Lagoon.

The water was gorgeous!

I swear that I didn't wear this hat the ENTIRE time.  It surely did work well for protecting my face from the sun!!

Two, please!

The Beach Side bar at The Blue Lagoon.

We made one last stop here before boarding the last boat off of the lagoon!  Can you tell how much fun these folks were?  I was in stitches the entire time.  :)

After boating back to the port, we had about 8 minutes to get to our next excursion in Nassau.  We did a little sunset sailing with a champagne toast.  We made it, but we were booking it to get there!

Cheers people!

This is my favorite photo from the entire week!

These two sure did turn out to be hard working, good looking, wonderful husbands!  It's hard to believe that I've known the two of them for 17 years!!  YIKES!!  The two of them have been friends since they were tiny tots!

This is just a tiny glimpse into the laughing that was had during the week!

Potter and Richard enjoyed the rock wall.  Richard's adventures are on Carrie and Potter's photos.

Happy Anniversary, Carrie and Potter! Our waiters sang to them on our last night!!

Another photo of a photo!
I have to say that this child-free cruise would not have been possible without help from Nanny, Pop Pop, Ruthie, and Mama Lucy.  They juggled Kamdyn and Karcie for the week so that we could have adult time.  Thank you so much!!  Much love and thanks to all of you!!
