Sweet Smiley Karcie

Karcie is so sweet and smiley.  I have decided that she is the best baby EVER!!  She is still sleeping through the night.....8:00PM until 6:30AM!!  We took her with us to dinner this past Friday night and she was an angel.  She only cries a tiny bit when hungry and a little when sleepy.  Other than that, she is such a happy and easy baby.....very predictable!  Pop Pop got this hat for Kamdyn when she was a baby so we took some photos with Karcie wearing it.  Even though it is boyish, she still looks adorable.  I could eat her up when she gives us that precious smile!

Big Sister LOVES Karcie and never misses an opportunity to jump in Karcie's photoshoots!

SERIOUS!!

Hospital Photos

In all of the madness of having a newborn, I realized that I forgot to post all of these sweet pictures that were taken of Karcie when she was just a day old in the hospital.  She has changed so much!  It is hard to believe that she ever looked like this!

I absolutely love this one of both of my precious girls!

Kindergarten Open House

Open House was at our school last night.  It was crazy!  I was trying to play Mommy and teacher at the same time.  Richard was there with Karcie, too.  He took Kamdyn and Karcie down to Kamdyn's room to hear Mrs. Graham talk about her Kindergarten class.  Meanwhile, I was in my room talking to my parents about my Kindergarten class.  Luckily, 13 out of 18 students were in my class last year in Pre-K.  I am really looking forward to having all of them again.  They were a great class last year and I know that they will be great this year, too!  While my class had a lull in visits, I ran down to Kamdyn's class to take some pictures, see her seat, cubby, etc.  Mrs. Graham had a scrapbook for parents to write a special note to his/her child so that she would read the special notes to the child on his/her first day of school.  So sweet!!  But, it almost made me cry as I wrote.  I can't believe my baby is starting Kindergarten.  This day seemed so far away!  I know that she will do great!  She loves school and she loves learning!  We couldn't be prouder of her.  She keeps telling me all about Mrs. Graham's behavior system.  I think Kamdyn was listening better than Daddy!  :)

Kamdyn and Mrs. Graham

Kamdyn's table....see her frog nametag.  Mrs. Graham's room has a "frog" theme!

Jacob and Kamdyn came back to my room for a little playtime towards the end of Open House.

They are excited to be in the same school together.  Jacob will be right across the hall from me this year!  Kamdyn will be four doors down from me.  I am so blessed to have Kamdyn at school with me!

Edventure with Friends

Monday was my last day off before starting a new year as a new Kindergarten teacher.  Kamdyn, Karcie, and I were fortunate enough to be able to spend our last day together with some of our favorite friends that we do not get to see nearly enough!  Betsy and Amy are two of my best friends from Clemson.  Betsy was visiting her family in Lamar, SC and Amy lives in Greenville.  We decided that all of us should meet up in Columbia at Edventure for the kids to play!  We all had a fabulous time!  Betsy and Amy, it was so great hanging out with the two of you and your beautiful boys!  Next time, we need to plan on some girl time, too!  :)

Karcie did great, too!  I was a little hesitant to take her, but she slept most of the time.  She did make me work really hard with feedings and diaper changes, but she did so without one little fuss!  She was changed three times on a public diaper changing station....something I NEVER would do with Kamdyn.  I guess it's a 2nd baby thing!  You just let so much more go the second time around!

At the foot of ED....a giant kid that you can climb inside!

Precious Noah and Kamdyn!  Maybe we can arrange a wedding for these two one day, but I think Kamdyn only has eyes for her Jacob!  I tell Amy all of the time that she needs to put Noah's photo in a contest.  He looks like a little model!

Kamdyn did great at giving us the weather report!  She could even read the teleprompter.

Kamdyn really had fun with sweet Preston!  He asked her at the end of the day if she could come to his Papa's house with him!  So sweet!

Shopping!!  I know she knows how to do this....she gets it honest from her Mommy!

She had to practice a few times to be able to get down the fire pole by herself, but her persistence always pays off!

Preston and Kamdyn were off in the Volkswagon bug!

The Dentist Office!

Sweet Karcie enjoyed this museum by sleeping most of the day!

The GIANT Operation game!  Amy had Kamdyn cracking up when Amy said, "Oh Lawdy!"

Checking out Preson and Kamdyn's marbles that they bought at the store.

Before leaving Kamdyn was finally brave enough to go inside of Eddie, the HUGE little boy!

Kamdyn and Luke were so sweet all day!

All of our adorable kiddos!

With the Mommies, too!  I can't wait to get together again!

Bumbo

We have been trying Karcie in her Bumbo seat every now and again.  She just not quite at the point where she loves it.  But, I think that is partly because she can't hold her head up completely on her own just yet.  Her little thighs are so chunky that she is already getting stuck inside of the leg holes at two months old!  We sure do have a healthy baby girl!!  :)
