Spring Break Stop #2 - Atlanta, GA

HAPPY EASTER 2010

Discovering where the Easter Bunny hid her basket at Aunt Holly and Uncle Matthew's house.

Opening her basket.

Digging in to her basket....she gots lots of summer goodies.

Can you tell how much she is enjoying her breakfast?

Waiting to leave for church.

Love this!

Kamdyn would not take her finger away from her mouth! Oh well! The sun was so bright!

Family Photo - Easter 2010 at Aunt Holly and Uncle Matthew's Church.

Playing Hungry Hungry Hippo with Jackson.

Looking for bugs to catch in Jackson's bug vacuum. I sure am glad that I have a girl! I don't know what to do with toys like this!

Getting ready to say the blessing before dinner. Everything was delicious! Kamdyn said the blessing for all of us and did such a great job!

Watching the Easter Bunny hide eggs!

Kamdyn was REALLY upset when the Easter Bunny left because no one would tell her that the bunny was really Holly even though she kept insisting that it was Aunt Holly. Later on in the day she still refused to drop it. Uncle Matthew took the charade one step further by photo shopping a picture of Holly standing beside the Easter Bunny. They tried to convince Kamdyn that it must have been Aunt Holly's cousin. I still don't think that they tricked her!

Spring Break Stop #1 - Madison, GA

Our first stop on our week long adventure was Madison, GA. One of my sweetest new friends at my new school got married on April 3. Her wedding was beautiful! What made it all the more special was that it was also our 6th wedding anniversary and the wedding was at exactly the same time as ours was. We had fun remembering our special day and enjoyed witnessing Krista and Heath's special day. I wasn't able to get a picture of Krista, but she was beautiful! The band even played our first dance song, "Into the Mystic." Kamdyn made a few new friends and enjoyed dancing with them. She also enjoyed running in the open field. Congratulations, Krista and Heath!

Dying Easter Eggs

After the Egg Hunt we dyed our Easter Eggs at home. It was a beautiful morning so we decided to go out on our screened in porch. Still wearing her new John Deere hat, we drew some fancy designs on our eggs and made some beautiful colors!

Grace Egg Hunt

Friday was our church's egg hunt. I wanted to go to Jazzercise one last time before our trip to Aruba, which happened to be at the same time as the Egg Hunt. Kamdyn didn't seem too upset about not going to the egg hunt so I went to Jazzercise. When I came home from Jazzercise Richard and Kamdyn were gone. I looked to see if her basket was gone. It was! Then, I immediately walked to the closet to see what Richard dressed her in because I left her in pajamas sitting at the bar eating cereal. I was happy that he took her, but knew that she wouldn't have a bow in her hair or an outfit worthy of an Easter Egg Hunt (well, in my opinion, anyway!) The results are below and even though it's not what I would have chosen, she looked pretty darn cute!

Chuck E. Cheese

After PF Changs we ventured across the street to Chuck E. Cheese's. Kamdyn and Jacob had such a good time even if it were a short visit. It was my kind of visit because hardly any other children were there!

PF Changs

I took Jacob from school to meet Georgia and Kamdyn at PF Changs on her actual birthday. Kamdyn loves to eat at PF Changs! She enjoyed egg drop soup and the biggest piece of chocolate cake that I've EVER seen! Her birthday lasted almost an entire week...

Our 4 Year Old

Kamdyn is officially four! Even though it's hard to believe, she is definitely looking like a four year old! Happy Birthday to the sweetest girl in the world!
