I think this was the "straw that broke the camel's back" yesterday! For me, it made our move seem real! Richard decided that we should sell the playset. It's kind of small for Kamdyn and we just weren't up for having the mover move this to Raleigh. After a few minutes on Craigslist, Richard had 20 emails. This little couple drove from Columbia to take our playset away. A few tears slipped down my face as I watched them disassemble it. I will never forget the Christmas day that Kamdyn got this from Aunt Kathy and Uncle Jim. We were trying to keep it from her until after lunch. Instead, she went into our bedroom and was looking out the window. She said in her sweetest 3-year-old-voice, "Oh, LOOK! Someone got a new playset!" It never occurred to her that it actually belonged to her. It was a moment that I will NEVER forget!
This playset has been special to our family, too. Karcie just mastered climbing the ladder/rock wall. She loves to swing and can even swing in the big girl swing. Kamdyn cried when she realized it was gone. Karcie didn't seem to notice or care. :) We will create a new play-set in Raleigh and will have lots of new memories.
