Happy Valentine's Day

We had a really low key Valentine's Day.  The girls opened a few goodies from us and our family.  Richard and I have started having "date days" while the girls are at school and it has been wonderful!  He took me to PJ Changs.  We went to the mall and walked around and then we shopped around at World Market.  It was a great afternoon spent together and we didn't have to pay a babysitter! :)

We have the best little family and I am so grateful for them!

Aunt Kathy and Uncle Jim come to Visit!

It had been a while since Aunt Kathy and Uncle Jim had been able to come up and visit us so we were super excited to see them!  We weren't able to celebrate Christmas with them at Christmas because Karcie was sick.  So we had Christmas in February and it was so much fun!!  I felt so relaxed and was able to enjoy everything that was going on.  The girls seemed to really love it, too!

Thank you, Aunt Kathy and Uncle Jim for always being so good to us and for loving us so very much!  We love you both and can't wait for our next visit!

Just before Aunt Kathy and Uncle Jim arrived we received a yummy package in the mail from Nanny..... CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES!!  YUMMY!!

Karcie rode her Jeep and we tried riding her bike without training wheels.  No such luck!

We concluded our time with a delicious Mexican dinner.  Oh and there was also a lot of Game of Life playing on this trip.  Aunt Kathy brought Kamdyn the original one from a friend of hers.  Kamdyn loved it!!

Hip Hip Hooray! It's the 100th Day!

Karcie's teaching assistant is always so great about sending me photos of their class on days when I'm not there.  The first photo is just before the Super Bowl.  Everyone had to wear their favorite team shirt.  Karcie wore her Panther shirt.  

The next week was the 100th Day of School.  My girl wanted to go all out.  The crutches arrived just in time to complete the old lady outfit.  Karcie even wanted curlers in her hair.  She was such a cute old lady!!  I can't believe that Kindergarten is more than halfway over.  

Ruthie Comes to Visit

I didn't get very many photos during Ruthie's visit this time, but I did manage to snap a couple.  She brought Kamdyn and Karcie the neatest collage sticker book that creates different animals once put together.  The girls love this!!

She also brought with her a Christmas gift from our Florida Terry family.  These silly girls have been begging for crutches.  Somehow I think it must be VERY bad luck to walk on crutches without needing them.  Nevertheless, it doesn't stop them from walking all around our house almost daily on them.  The upside is that if they ever do hurt a foot or leg, they will be experts at getting around!
