SRE Chorus

Kamdyn had a few concerts at the end of the year.  She really loves chorus and plans to be it again in 5th grade.  I love watching my girl sing.  I always loved chorus when I was a kid and I'm thrilled that she does, too!

I can hardly believe that my baby will be in school full time in the fall.  What will I do without my side kick every day?  She has brought such joy and giggles to my life!

Hanging Out in Charleston

Ruthie met us in Charleston on Sunday with the girls so we could explore downtown.  The girls had never been and it was fun to show them around one of our most favorite cities!

They loved Battery Park....climbing on trees, canons, and such.  We tried to give them a bit of a history lesson, but I'm not sure that they were really listening.

We had lunch at Tommy Condon's and walked our little legs off checking out the sites.

It was a great ending to a fun weekend!

ZBB Southern Ground Music Festival

Richard loves ZBB!  He jumped at the chance to visit friends and go to the Southern Ground Music Festival.  We dropped the girls at Ruthie's down in the lower state as we made our way to Charleston. We had a super fun time with my high school and college friends!  I love that these two couples have become such great friends in Charleston.   

While we were there, we found out that my Augusta friend, Denise's kids, were there, too!  I was so excited to see Ana Blake and Dalton.  I was equally as sad to see how grown up they are....They were 8 and 4 when I met them!!  Say what???

This was such a fun grown-up get away.  Thanks, Ruthie, for taking care of our babies so we could enjoy this time with friends!

A Visit from Georgie

 Georgia couldn't make it to Kamdyn's Cupcake Wars Party so she came to visit the week afterwards.  The girls were so excited to see her!  The strawberry patch opened for the first pick of the season and we were the very first customers! It was a "Bailey day" so she got to pick strawberries with us!

Georgia gave Kamdyn a little bit of a sewing lesson, which she really loved! They played play-doh.  We went to dinner. Georgia went with us to Ready to Learn.  Karcie was even found to be upside down in her bed one morning!
