Hilton Head Day 8 - Gotta Go

We weren't in a hurry to leave on our last day.  Wouldn't you know that it would be beautiful, sunny, and no wind on our day to leave.  We took full advantage of a nice morning on the beach.  The girls played one last time and had a super time.

Hilton Head Day 7 - Mini Golf and Shopping

The tropical storm was starting to bother us on this day.  It was chilly, windy, and rainy. We did manage to get a game of mini golf in though before the torrential rains hit.  We decided to shop in an outdoor shopping area when it was REALLY raining.  :)  It was fun though!!

We played mini golf at Pirate's Island.  Kamdyn chose for our family to play the challenging course.  It was more challenging for some Richard than others.  Don't ask Richard who won....he gets real upset about it.  I only won by a few strokes, but I won and that's all that matters.  I don't think I've ever actually beat him in mini golf.  He and I love a good competition!  Kamdyn played a good game, too.  Karcie even stayed out of our way and actually tried to hit the ball in the hole and tried real hard to play by the rules.  It was super fun!

We caught up with the rest of our pirate family after we finished our course and took some fun photos.  We had lunch at Hilton Head Diner.  It was my first time going there and I do love a good diner with good food.  It did not disappoint!

By the end of the night everyone was tired and ready for snuggles.  Uncle Matthew read the girls a bedtime story and Lucy was bright eyed and busy tailed.  She stayed up late and got some extra love from the grown ups  I didn't mind a bit though because I tricked her into sitting on my lap....IPad's can coerce kids to do crazy things.  I loved my snuggle time though!

This was our last night and I was sad for us to leave.  I so wish that we lived closer to this sweet family!

She enjoyed climbing on all of the rocks.  No surprise there!

It was time for him to get serious....he was getting beat!
