Three-Year-Old Stats are IN!!

My wonderful hubby took Kamdyn to the doctor today for her 3 year check up. Thankfully, Kamdyn has only been to the doctor one other time between the age of two and three!! Woo Hoo!! Despite her infrequent visits she remembers Dr. Foushee and is leary of going to the doctor because she doesn't want to have to take the "pink medicine." She has only had it twice in her lifetime, but remembers throwing up both times. :) We had to give her a pep talk and prepare her for her visit.

Daddy says that Dr. Foushee says that everything is great! She is ahead verbally, socially, and emotionally. She needs to work on motor development a little bit. (i.e. taking on and off her own clothes). She just isn't interested in that at ALL! Although she is getting better because she is starting to want to play dress-up on her own. I'm not worried in the least about this!

Height - 38.5" (80th percentile)
Weight - 31.4 lbs. (50th percentile)

I was kind of surprised about her height. I kind of expected 90th percentile. She is on the skinny side, but she eats all of the time!?!?!

She still LOVES to drink both chocolate and strawberry milk. No plain milk, PLEASE! Sorry Dad! She loves pickles, olives, tomatoes, carrots (dipped in ranch) and "normal" kid food - mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, cheeseburgers, etc. She's really not a picky eater and prefers anything sweet (much to our dismay)!

She LOVES watching TV. Her check-up sheet says that she should be watching very little TV. Hmm, I wonder who's going to be the one to break the news to her?

She can now ride her tricycle and her scooter by herself. She gets very frustrated when attempting to go uphill. It's very amusing to her Dad and me to see the fits and frustration when attempting the hill. :)

Yep, she's still very strong willed, hard headed, demanding, loud and very sweet, loving, and mannerly all in the same minute. You never know what you're going to get with her! She can turn those tears on and off in a heartbeat. DRAMA QUEEN!!

She continues to be our little sassy ray of sunshine. We love her beyond measure and can't wait to see what the "trying threes" hold! Look out 4th birthday, here we come!!!
