ACC Championship Game

These Tigers love to give out heart attacks.  This game was no exception.  We were happy to spend the day with Matthew, Holly, and Shannon.  Allison and the rest of the crew arrived later.  We hung out in downtown Orlando where they had a gameday festival set up with vendors and live music.  We hung around until game time and then took the shuttle to the stadium.  I just knew we were going to lose that game.  But I'm so glad that we  didn't!!  I think we will stay home instead of heading to Arizona.  We are planning on another National Champion game!!  Go Tigers!!

Welcome to Sunny Orlando, Florida - Universal Studios

We decided to make the trip to Orlando since Holly and Matthew live there.  Nanny was sweet enough to watch our girls for us.  

Matthew got free tickets to Universal Studios on Friday.  It was a fun day, but I am too old for roller coasters and rides that put my brain in motion.  Seriously!?!?  Have you ridden a bunch of roller coasters and rides after the age of 30?  My body could not hang!  Universal was really cool though.  Harry Potter world was my favorite!

Thanks, Matthew, for spending the day with us and for the tickets.  We loved it!

BEFORE riding this roller coaster.  My brain really did slam against my skull.  I felt like I was hungover immediately after getting off of this roller coaster.  It was no joke!

I opted to watch this ride.  See that tube?  It shot you out of that thing and you immediately twisted around.  Nope.  I couldn't handle it, but Richard and Matthew rode it. They began to feel the effects, too!

Doctor Doom's Fear Fall was supposedly one of the "easier" rides.  I watched!

Taking a tour of Hogwarts Castle.  This ride was closed for maintenance.  We got to look inside though.

I took a few photos of the parade for the girls as it went through.  I hated that we couldn't take them, but it was just too much to plan in such a short time for us.  Maybe next time!
