After the big 6 month relocation, it was time for what we moved here for, Lake Living and Relaxing. If the sun is out and it is summer, you will find us scantily clad, covered in sunscreen, on a boat or dock, likely wet enjoying each other and the outdoors.
One of my goals in life was to live on the lake. I made it part way in living on the river in North Augusta and our vacation house on Kerr Lake. It has been a long road, but we finally made it come true. Everybody likes different things. They say it makes the world go round. I like boats, fishing, sunsets, summer music and spending it with family and friends. We can do all those things at our current residence. We do sacrifice a bit. Longer drive to trade time for money and kid/social events. Older neighborhoods with less kids. More maintenance! However, we expect the trade off is worth it.
These pics show how we spent our first summer. The kids are at a great age to enjoy it. That makes the parents happy. I told Kamdyn her friends will want to come over. She thinks the lake wont be an attraction. We will see next year. Always bet on Dad.
